How long to enter 🇺🇸 from Tijuana 🇲🇽? (2nd Time)

I was crossing into Tijuana from San Diego today. There was no line. It was about 11AM. I crossed back into San Diego at 5PM and I was already preparing myself for at least 2 hour queue. Surprisingly no queue at all. It took 5 minutes and I was back to USA. First time crossing to Tijuana and then back to San Diego. I'm from Australia
Edit: I was walking btw. If you drive, be prepared for long queue

If you are conscious about the times it is crowded, you can cross in less than 30 minutes and you will start making the line right where it says “SENTRI” for the first time on this video, but most of the time without a line at all, in the mornings around 9 am.

I was waiting in this line for two hours. The only place worse is San Ysidro, which is a 3-4 hour line. When I was there though the line was not this bad.

Next Time go to San ysidro crossing. Go under overpass near the line. There's a bus station where you can buy tickets for ten dollars that skips all lines. Whole process takes like 45 mins.

Just like any airport securities they have scanner to check you and an x-ray scanner for any luggage or backpack you are carrying back. And they just ask you questions of where are you going and such

​@@HandleDotDotDotfirst you fill out an application, then you make an appointment with immigration office then they interrogate you about your living situation, occupation, criminal record , etc. Then after that you have to perform a happy dance, then juggle 3 tenis balls while jumping on one leg, then you have to do an Elvis Presley impersonation while reciting the pledge of allegiance of the US. Do two backflips and 8 cartwheels, you'll be good and on your way to getting your sentri pass 👍👍👍
