Thanks for making the video bro ,after spending more time chasing the ball today from when it bounces off the edge of the ball return I looked this up and it looks so worth getting now that I've seen it in action . The boys stole the show with their intermission moves 😂.
Thank you for checking out the video, if your still looking to get one you can check out the description. My boys appreciate it and working on more moves 😂
Always enjoy watching you kids
I bought mine because i watched your video! Thanks brother
Nice!!! Enjoy and keep on shooting!!! 😃
FYI I came only for the Dr.Dish review...but I subscribed because of the dancing 🤣🤣🤣
😆 Appreciate it @MrFLYBOY1985!!! 🙂
That is so cool, gonna look into this for my kids!!! Thank you!!! You guys are so cute!!!!
Hahaha your kids are awesome man, reminds me of myself and my brother back when we were kids.
Thank you @Noa , it’s all about them and family 😃
BEST DANCE EVER !!!
Are the nets detachable? For example, i want to work on improving my shot from top of the key. Would i be able to remove the middle net while still having the outer nets on?
Hi there @Prince.Quartez , the net is hooked on via carabiner but it is one piece and unable to remove one section only. Thank you for checking out video.
Awesome! Good job son... so cool grandsons...l💙🙋🏻😘😘😘
Beautiful backyard, this Cali? Ny? Or SF?
Great video, bro. How much storage space does this take up? When folded up, does it look possible to hang this on a garage wall with hooks?
Hi there @ea0529 , I have the iC3 set up right now and did some rough measuring ,when folded up I estimate about needing 76”l x 22”w x 18.5” d (give or take all little), I see it possible to hang on a wall fitting estimated dimensions.
Appreciate you checking out the video @ea0529 😃
Where did you get the shot counter. I saw some online similar to yours but the mechanism seems different
Hey man. Great videos. Keep up the good work. I'm on the fence about getting this because I have a 54 inch acrylic backboard that's mounted to my garage in my driveway (so there's no pole). My biggest issue right now is the ball bouncing off the rim and going to my neighbors yard, damaging plants, garden gnomes etc. Without the pole, am I going to run into issues? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.
Good day @thacherils, I believe for no pole rims a 60 inch would be better for support, the two vertical bars sit on base of backboard for support and with our system (54inch) it’s right on the edge. I took off the pole support, put up some shots to see how it would be. It works but really wobbly, felt it was not stable. Here’s the email for makers of the iC3 ( info@drdishbasketball.com and website: www.drdishbasketball.com/contact-us ) maybe they may provide better guidance too. Hope this helped and appreciate your kind words!!! Keep on shooting!!!! 👌🏽🏀👌🏽
interested now, thank you
Great video, man. Is it easy to take of and put back on or does it take a while
Good day and thank you @Shiv Patel , it’s easy to take it off and put it back on when it’s on the lowest height. 🙂
Where I would set it up at has no pole down the middle. Does that make a big difference?
Thinking about buying one like yours because of your video. Can you tell me how long the poles are that stick out to hold the net ?
Good day Robert andrew Rodarte, the poles that stick out to hold net are 63 inches, I do get the occasional 1 bounce off the ring and goes over the net. But all in all it’s a great product for its price and purpose. You save so much time and effort not chasing the rebounds thus more shots and since the net catches the ball I save my plants and house from the ball hitting them. Hope that helps 😃
🔥🔥🔥🏀
Gday Mate, how is it holding up after a year or so? Im looking to get one but hoping the quality is good and it will last. Cheers
Good day @Jay Cruz , it’s holding up really well, I have a follow up video I posted this past January too. To this date it’s been outdoors the majority of the time and the netting and everything else is functioning great.
Hey mate a year on how many shots have missed the net from a bad shot of the ring ? I hoping I don’t have to have another net close to my neighbors fence for bad shots as I would hope all fall into the net cone .
Good day @lara baseball , So far the year I’ve had it, I haven’t had any issues with the ball bouncing to my neighbors, the net does a great job, the ones that do bounce out usually bounce forward. 🙂
@@LAFWithJeffe Sweet ! Thanks
Just got mine 3 days ago from amazon. We love it! Where do you get the wheels and counter?
Good day @uluckout1, when I initially purchased it wheels and counter were part of the package at a higher cost, unfortunately the counter has been discontinued and manufacturer working on a redesign due to ease of damage to it (mine broke also, someone shot an air ball and hit the counter and impact broke it) per email I got from manufacturer.
@@LAFWithJeffe Any idea where to get the wheels? me and and my boys will probably bring it to the public park more often.
@@LAFWithJeffe I’m not sure I want the counter now from what you experienced
@@uluckout1 , yes, depends also if you have kids or beginners using it a lot, if not it may be useful, mine tho, I have my kids, nieces and nephews who play a lot with mine and my counter was a casualty to their shooting 😂
Where did you get the shot counter?
Let’s go warriors
Any help on where I can buy this? I don’t know if I can’t find it because your American and I’m from England. Thanks.
Do you need the pole system with a portable hoop like that my hoop just has a straight up pole and it would be way too close for the pole system
Hi there @Andres Pigz, it works with Backboard to pole overhang clearance of 0 inches to 48+ inches, check out Page 8 step 8 of Manual and here’s the link ( cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/735726/Dish-Manuals/IC3-Manual.pdf ) Hope this helps.
LAF With Jeffe sorry for late response I called airborne athletics and said a 40 inch back board can work without the pole will it still be balanced or na
Good day @Andres Pigz, I was looking at my setup and I have a 54inch backboard and the poles going vertical on each end barely rest on the backboard with little room to spare. To me having the pole support would be ideal, it does come with a short length pole brace. The iC3 rests and hangs from the ring and if vertical poles don’t rest on bottom corners of backboard and no pole support I’d imagine it would have have some kind of wobble with every shot.
The basquetball hoop that you have is the spalding nba 54"?? Great video man
Thank you Luis Ivan, yes it’s a Spalding Basketball Hoop 54”. Here’s the Walmart link:
www.walmart.com/ip/Spalding-NBA-54-Portable-Angled-Basketball-Hoop-with-Polycarbonate-Backboard/22401197
Your video did give me validation to complete my order. Now where did you find the counter attachment. Thanks for the video!
Nevermind I saw your earlier post in response to my question
Good day @Moses Shorter, You’re welcome and thank you also for checking out the video 🙂
Does the shot counter and wheel come with it? Without additional cost?
Hi Lucas Nieves, It was sold as either with or without the shot counter, with it was additional charge for with shot counter. I contacted manufacturer to get a replacement for shot counter as mine broke and they mentioned they discontinued the shot counter and looking at a redesign for shot counter. It may be hard to find it in stock for regular retail price now.
Could the thing that passes the ball back to you move
Hi @Benjamin Normatov , yes, the ball return ramp can move and adjust to the angle you want the ball to roll to.
Im thinking about buying this because I have a hoop and it’s very frustrating on off days and my hoop is at the front of the house on the street and I live on a hill so the street is slightly slanted and it’s super annoying when you miss and it rolls all the way down, do you have a link for this? I searched it up but I saw 500 dollar ones and I think I saw somebody get one for cheaper
Hi there @Idek , yes, I get tired more chasing my rebound that’s why I purchased this 😁, unfortunately it looks like the price has increased, it was $389.99 in Feb 2020. I checked around and even direct from Dr. Dish and other retailers they are going for $499.99
@@LAFWithJeffe I got mines and it arrives december 7th, approximately 1 in how many shots escape the net? i seen some comments saying 1 in 50 shots, is that true?
Good day@@idekav. it’ll vary per individual as shooting strokes may vary but, for me the ball does escape the net from missing on farther shots once in a while, mid range I’d say it less of a problem but then net does a good job of catching misses in my experience. Hope all is good and would love to hear how it goes for you. Swishing it goes well! 😄🏀
Can you lower the nets for easier storage/movement?
Hi @david senart , when taking down for storage the 4 brackets/poles the net is attached to come inward to a vertical position and you can shorten the brackets for easier movement and storage.
So how did you get your shooters ring on their
Hi there @Azulejo Farrier , my shooters ring just needed to be squeezed on and the natural tension kept it on there. You attach a little chain on the hoop also for safety just in case.
Where did you get the shot counter from? I can’t find it anywhere.
Good Day Khary W. , I got it packaged with my initial purchase, checked around and yeah looks like unavailable on many sites. If I do see one I’ll try and post a link back.
Good day Khary W. , my shot counter broke and I reached out to the makers of the iC3 and the reason you can’t find them is due to response I got from them below:
“We have actually pulled them from the market so we could give them a redesign for this very reason.” (Breaking easily)
Nice
Thank you @U SL! 😃
Bro I am so interested !!! is the net detachable cuz I wanna dunk on my unsuspecting stepdad😂
Good day @Elite Accuracy , it is detachable so you can dunk on when you done practicing your jumpers 😁
Also End of video I show how to take it off 👍🏽
@@LAFWithJeffe and how durable is the hoop and rim?
@@eliteaccuracy4394 , pretty durable, have had it for almost a year now, doesn’t rain much here but it’s 24/7 outside, sun/rain/cold/dew and still functioning at 100 percent. No damages yet to any part of the hoop system, rim and spring still like day 1 installed. iC3 also been out in the same elements and besides a little rust on pole brace everything is good also.
@@LAFWithJeffe wow and I looked Dickssporting goods and I believe they still have em. And is there a way to take off the net but still have the ball returning device , bc i dont have any arch on my shots,
What height does the hoop goe to, like whats the lowest and highest height
Good day adrianvinegar, the lowest it goes is 7.5 feet and you can adjust in 6 inch increments (8, 8.5, 9, 9.5 feet) to highest point of 10 feet.
So the Spalding 54 inch is compatible?
Yes 🙂
Where do you purchase the shot counter?
Hi @Dana Smith , I got it upon initial purchase as a bundle package. Last I heard it’s discontinued. I’ve been looking online as mine broke and still currently unavailable.
How has it held up to date?
So far so good and working well still! 🙂
where did you find the shot counter
Good day @Hilton Boys Basketball, Got it when I first purchased it back in February. Unfortunately it’s discontinued. Here’s manufacturer response to my inquiry for replacement on my shot counter that broke:
“Sorry about your IC3 Counter. We have actually pulled them from the market so we could give them a redesign for this very reason.”
@@LAFWithJeffe Thanks for the quick response
@@hiltonboysbasketball7996 you’re welcome 🙂
Where did you get the shot tracker
Good day @Kayla Rain , got it as an add on when I ordered it from www.dickssportinggoods.com , I don’t see it available now, I was told by manufacturer they discontinued to redesign as it breaks easily (which mine did 😢)
@@LAFWithJeffe thanks so much for letting me know
You’re welcome @@CallMeRain3 🙂
Is the shot counter included ?
Hi @Tg. mtb , the specific one I got had it included with an upgraded price, but last I heard they discontinued shot counter a while back.
Ok thank you Can you buy this extra?
Where can I buy the Dr. Dish iC3 Basketball Shot Trainer from?
Shivam Gandhi online bro eBay has it or go to amazon mine was 300
Good day, I got my from Dick’s Sporting Goods online, note that the shot counter and wheel accessory increases the price a little, but you can opt not to if you have no need for it.
What is the shot counter called??
Hi there @Jax loves Jesus , it was just part of the bundle , but I’d say it’s just called the iC3 Shot Counter.
Can you lower that net?
Good day @Kevin Le , when in use no you can’t, but for storage you can lower it and fold it in.
why is there 2 rims
Hi. Where to buy this? Thanks.
Good day @Pj S , there’s info in description, only difference is there is no wheels or shot counter. It’s been unavailable even from other retailers. But the shot trainer itself is good. Thank you for watching Video.
can i order
Where and how much??
Good day @Phillip Medina Jr. , I have a link in description on Amazon and for Dicks sporting goods, search iC3 shot trainer. Now listed at $499.99
Do you think the backboard of this hoop is too small ? I measured it and it says 48inches. I am thinking about buying the shoot trainier too but in Germany it’s 850$. I would use it a lot but if it wouldn’t fit the money would be kind of wasted. Here is the link of the hoop I am using www.exittoys.at/exit-galaxy-versetzbarer-basketballkorb-auf-radernmit-dunkring-grun-schwarz-46-05-11-00
Anyways thanks for the video and your help. 💪🏼
Hi there @Kekek Nsksk , I think it could work since there is a support bar that will rest on the pole, but to be on the safe side here’s the email to the manufacturer and they should be able to confirm: info@drdishbasketball.com , here’s the manual too see if it helps you have better idea of assembly also: cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/735726/Dish-Manuals/IC3-Manual.pdf , I agree it is a lot of money and need to make sure it is worth it. Product wise it is great, no need to waste energy chasing the ball, once in a while it’ll bounce off the ring and go over the net but that’s rarely. Hope I was able to help and be safe out there while you keep on shooting 🏀😃
Alright that makes sense. Thanks for your answer brother it was really helpful and lovely content. You and your fam stay safe !
How much
$499 ++
Polycarbonate gets yellow and brittle after 3-5 years outside
Appreciate the feedback Aiden, that’s a good amount of time so I can start saving for it’s replacement if needed.
@@LAFWithJeffe an acrylic backboard would be good for outdoors
Ha
Pathetic, back in the day I shot around and retrieved my own ball, practiced dribbling and moves before taking my next shot, but no these dudes want to spend $3k cuz they cant get the rock themselves... PATHETIC
