No.9 has a theory and I believe I have the same or at least a similar theory. No.8 seems to HATE other Kaiju. It reacts violently to other Kaiju, specifically the other numbered ones (or just powerful ones in general I'm not fully sure) it is chanting "kaiju... Kill... Kill.... Kaiju" in Kafka's head during this fight seemingly in response to No.2 being activated for use. And then we have No.9's observations that Kafka in his Kaiju form seems to have powers and skills that are specifically designed or purposed to kill Kaiju. I have nothing solid to base this further point on but I believe one of 3 things: No.8 is a different species of Kaiju like a natural predator, an intentionally designed creature to kill Kaiju, or something happened in the past to cause this intense hatred of its own kind.
