I think staging helps people feel like they are walking into a home instead of just a house and also helps them to quickly figure out how their furnishing will fit into the place. I really like this place. So cute & homey. Someone who likes to garden will really love this lot!
I love staging bcuz im not gonna lie to myself or anyone else. All my taste is in my mouth. I cant pick out decorations and arrange them to save my life or anyone else's so there's that. 😔🙏🏾😊
Nice house with a backyard bigger than plenty, congrats on the quick offer and hopefully sale. If your contractor overlooks things and they return at your request do they expect to get additional $$$$$ for that? You are paying them to do a nice job not things in a shabby fashion.
Looking good. There is always a market for a low cost house like this (IMO). The Fed wants low interest rates to tamp down the cost of interest payments on the US debt which grew huge in the last 4 years. Financing war and solar projects in foreign countries ain't cheap.
This house is so cute and it has an awesome yard. I would like to know why houses are built without access to the basement from the inside. That is so inconvenient . Even more so in bad weather.
I like the staging, however, the slippers peeking out from under the shower curtain are super creepy. I have no idea why the staging company thinks that is enticing. It makes me want to run away from the bathroom.
Prices need to come down. Interest rates need to remain high. My rent is less than half the price of a mortgage for something that isn't going to raise in value with the rate of inflation.
High interest don't lower prices. In fact, over time they increase prices. They make it more expensive to build which raises prices and they create less building which tightens inventory and raises prices as well.
@investfourmore with previously existing structures it does with time. New builds it doesn't. Lowering interest rates won't help anyone in the long term at this time. Money is worthless. People are taking on payments they can absolutely not afford.
I really like that house. It has a fantastic kitchen.

Those slippers are the Bates Motel on Prozac! Those paintings are of the Even My Kid Could Do That School of Art.
🖖🙏
Nice that the house sold so fast. Staging the house helped for this house for sure plus the big backyard for kids to pets.
Nice job on this house. It's perfect for someone just starting out or downsizing.
oh that staging is great, cute house now.
The house looks amazing. The new owners will have lots of options with the landscaping on such a big lot. I'd love to find a little house like that!
Nice reno, Mark. Congrats on the quick sale.
Thanks!
The staging people should have put the slippers by the bed instead of under the shower curtain!

Looks wonderful! The staging is great!
Looks good now but i would have put trim along that outer wall and under the doorway on the back porch to hide that gap!
It looks nice. Much better than when you bought it.

Mark, those slippers in the bathroom look like someone is hiding in the shower curtain 😂
Lol, the Slippers, maybe at least turn them around 😁
right, or move them away from the shower curtain
Think I would have moved that thermostat from the middle of a wall to either the hall or at least next to a door.
Does the fridge go next to the stove?
How much more would you make if the buyer wants the staged items, along with the house?
Here is the property when I first bought it ruclips.net/video/xDzS067SdrE/видео.html

Providing quality housing at the low end of the market is a great way to benefit the community. Capitalism at work!
agreed!
staging is a waste of money
