The F 16 was not the successor of the F 14 Tomcat. The F 16 was the winner of the light weight fighter competition. The F 14 's successor is the F 18 Hornet derived from the YF 17 that lost the light weight fighter competition.
I think they just said it that way because the Navy was shopping for a replacement at the same time as the Air Force, and both looked into the F16, just so happens the Navy decided the hornet fit their needs better, while the Air Force went forward with the 16. It's not that what they said was inaccurate, it was just incomplete.
Additionally, 5195 Phantoms F-4 were made. Narrator confirms to date 4,500 F-16 units had been built innacurately mentioning it has been the fighter with most units made.
Your side stick labels are correct, except the "view reset" for track IR is the nosewheel steering/missile step button, track IR is a tool used in flight sims to capture head motion when looking around in a virtual cockpit. I also believe is display management system not data management.
The rudder is not used to turn the aircraft left or right. The rudder is used to maintain the position of the nose of the aircraft (so that its going where it's pointing). Turning an aircraft is acheived by rolling the aircraft and pulling up. Depending on how tight turn needs to be more or less roll and more or less up stick is used. Also, the combustion of fuel is further back in the engine, thr frint section is the compressors for compressing the incoming air.
As an engine mechanic, I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that combustion error. You have the fan (low pressure compressor), core (high pressure compressor), and then the combustion chamber. Then, there's the HPT and LPT, with the augmentor and exhaust nozzle following.
Is "quiet amazing" when you don't say anything out loud (or make any other noises), and just think about it instead? I call it mental astonishment and use it often unconsciously, like when watching videos alone or when verbal utterances would be inappropriate.

The bugles on the side of the jet, aft of the nose are also not TWS ,they are missile detection. Small innacuracies being presented with confidence in this video
@@Aitelly Yes, but this plane was F-111. F-16 was never meant to be replacement of F-14. F-16 from begining was designed to complement F-15 in USAF. YF-17 (latter F-18 Hornet) which loose competition with F-16 became later a NAVY fighter and as modernised version (Super Hornet) replaced F-14.

@@Aitelly indeed, the F-14 was incredibly expensive and retired in favor of the F/A-18 in no small part due to that reason, however the F-16 was developed at roughly the same time period as the F-14, and was developed for entirety different reasons (low cost light weight fighter) for the Air Force than the F-14 for the navy (fleet defense fighter). These 2 aircraft didn’t really have anything to do with each other as their roles were so opposite, so to my knowledge as Iv looked around, I can find no mention of the F-16 even being considered to replace the F-14. However If you’ve read this somewhere and have a source I’d be willing to read it
A little fun fact: The block designations for the F-16 either end with a zero or with a two. If the designations ends with zero, example F-16C Block 50, that means that it uses the General Electric F110 engine, but if the designation ends with a two, example F-16C Block 52, that version has the Pratt and Whitney F100 engine. (Although this applies only to Block 30,32 and forward as that is when the F110 was first introduced to the F-16)

I want to mention that “fly by wire” means the stick does not directly control the craft, the stick gives instructions to the aircraft’s computer and the computer figures out the best way to accomplish the orders, this aircraft is also an intentionally unstable aircraft, so the computer has to constantly fix the course, the exchange for this is better maneuvering. This is also why the F-16 has perfectly straight wings on the middle of the fuselage, instead of on top or angled on the bottom as other fighters.

What if USA had only F-16 mutlirole fighter in its air forces (navy, air force, army, national guard?) Would it be sufficient to ensure all fighting roles? This jet looks awesome.
The F18 hornet replaced the F14 tomcat not the F16. The F16 wasn't even considered for the navy so basically the F16 more likely replaced the F4 phantom.
i believe the MiG-21 was actually the most widely produced military aircraft overall, with the F-4 being the largest produced American aircraft for export. The F-16 is designed to replace both of these fighter jets for foreign countries
Btw they ripped the models and textures from war thunder. The scratch Marks and wear in the paint on the F-16 are exactly the same it looks to be the F-16A but with the blue on the tail panted over. And the mig-21 looks like it's the Mig-21PFM from war thunder as well.

The F18 hornet replaced the F14 tomcat not the F16. The F16 wasn't even considered for the navy so basically the F16 more likely replaced the F4 phantom.
i believe the MiG-21 was actually the most widely produced military aircraft overall, with the F-4 being the largest produced American aircraft for export. The F-16 is designed to replace both of these fighter jets for foreign countries

Btw they ripped the models and textures from war thunder. The scratch Marks and wear in the paint on the F-16 are exactly the same it looks to be the F-16A but with the blue on the tail panted over. And the mig-21 looks like it's the Mig-21PFM from war thunder as well.
