I have been drawing on and off for 2-3 years. Somehow avoided drawing portraits or heads for pretty much all of that time. This has been the best video I've watched on head portraiture and the placement of features at 3/4 angle. Just wanted to thank you for making this. This is definitely going to help me.

I love your videos, it helped me a lot, I just have a minor issue, is that I mostly struggle with symmetrical jawline, no matter how much measurements I do, It never works for me, any tips for that?
p.s: thank you always for the best tutorials, you're incredibly talented.
I appreciate you 😊 hmm as far as achieving a symmetrical jawline what I do is I first draw in my center line for the face and then depending on the angle I draw a line extending my vertical axis line on my side plane down. I then sketch in my line from that to the bottom of the center line. Then I draw a line from the bottom of the centerline over to the other side. Don’t try to draw the whole jawline at once. Draw it in sections. Does that help?

This is really good. There are a bunch of walk throughs that show the practical application of these methods. Loads of useful details like how the side ovals work with the rest of the image.
