The prestige keys is the genius part of this new system. Can only be earned by playing. So when u eventually drop 20 keys on that badass master prestige emblem from BO2, the enemies will know this dude has been grinding
Well warzone is also unified. People think warzone is modern warfare but they said from the beginning that warzone will be updated with the current COD year after year until that genre dies off
The compromise for prestiging was pretty much increase the level cap and provide additional rewards. Not bad I suppose Sure beats mws original system by a hundred fold though

Super excited to get old prestige emblems, and be able to rock the season master calling cards at the same time. Not quite the same as the challenge of traditional prestige system, but I'm optimistic that they pull it off

I use cable, but still can´t connect to the internet at times because somewhere some relais broke or whatever. On my end doesn´t change anything, so 100% of times it wouldn´t matter which way i choose to connect.

New cold war map looks like their version of Terminal. frencers is book store food court sign lines up with the little food stand at the end in the corner. The poles sit similar to the ones in Terminal too

It seems like a good system - I’m very glad it transfers over to MW, I’ll still be playing that for a bit I reckon, and it’s great that I can unlock higher levels on either game. Looking really good so far!

I seriously don't know how to feel about this new system. I just hate the season system, its like you are forced to do your best before the season ends if you want to earn items. Just give us normal prestige where you have all the time on your side to unlock anytime
The seasonal ranking system puts pressure on players to play more, while most likely buying battle pass items before the season expires. From a financial standpoint, the devs and especially the publishers will see no reason to get rid of such a system unfortunately.
tbh I didn’t prestige back in BO4, I like the legacy PM icons but I wouldn’t go out of my way to grind prestige master. Something like diamond and dark matter feels much more fulfilling. at least now it sounds like there’s actual rewards for prestiging

Man, I really like the idea of the new prestige system in Cold War cuz I’ll never have to re-unlock anything like I had in BO4 every time I prestige and I hope to keep everything I have once I hit rank 55 like what I did back in Modern Warfare.

Then decides to buy Cold War, will the stats carry over and he will be level 200 on Cold War, or not? And I think yes. Your level should be carried over as it’s all cross progression between the 3 games, modern warfare, war zone and Cold War

I'm a grinder, I average probably 5-6 hours of game play a day and I can't imagine reaching level 1000 in a season unless we level up faster than we normally do in COD
The map shown at 9:35 almost looks like it could be a remake of Terminal. That photo looks like it could be in front of the metal detectors looking over to burger town, and that shop on the right could cut through the middle over to the skylight hallway. There's even a tree to the left offscreen in that photo where the planter could be from Terminal. Even the fact that there are skylights in the room where woods is in makes me wonder. I know It's not Treyarch's map but thats just what I see.
Prestige is new to me.. have only played since end of June.. BUT, it does sound a lot better than current model. i am up to 155 in no time, as i enjoy the grinding up, earning levels, leveling up my weapons, doing missions, etc, and now its a bit static.. although i am now leveling up weapons camo's.... not sure if that is all for naught, and i will lose all my current weapons Eventually.. which will kinda suck.. but oh well.. i never DID the camo-leveling thing before, so at least i know now a lot more on what it takes. Prestige sounds like they keep the player involved in the game in a much broader sense than now, so that is a good thing, to me.....
Im a fan, only thing i would change is rewards for getting 1000. They should give you a special operator and blueprint for going to master prestige for a season.

Honestly, if its just to unlock emblems and calling cards, I could care less. You see them in a lobby for 10 seconds or so and that is it.
