Well, another reason why they aren’t the same steps is because of their different cultures. Big Man is Brazilian, Frye is Indian, and Shiver is Japanese.
Splatoon idols are just something ya can't miss when playing the game.

I had this thought that Frye's hat wasn't bouncing unlike the squid sisters' hats and Pearl's crown because Frye wears the rest of her hair in a bun and it held her hat in place.

Nobody can beat the deep cut this is obviously the best idols of the franchise and here's why.
1st : You can skip the presentation when you don't want to watch It except for event.
2nd : The design is different beetween 3 of them, I mean much different than Squid sisters or Off the hook.
3rd : They have much more important role in story mode we need to fight them !
4th : The deep cut songs are the best idols song in Splatoon franchise I can't stop to listen this !

I like when the go with the flow in the choreography
I understand that Splatoon is a competitive game, so banter between other teams during splatfests is expected. But people straight up HARRASING other fans just because of what video game character they prefer is ridiculous, and also missing the entire point of the game, and Deep Cut as a whole.
Shiver, Frye and Big Man are all dancing different because of their diverse personalities and cultures. But they still work together as a group. The "who would be the best leader?" splatfest was supposed to highlight that. They all have their flaws and they all have their strengths, so thats why none of them should be a leader, they work together.
Hating on frye because of how she looks, false reporting people because they are a Shiver fan, and making the fandom dread each splatfest because of how toxic they get is not okay. And it feels like some people didn't even play the game.
