I would have loved to browse some of your RE stuff! For some reason the few conventions I have been to over here on the West Coast just never seem to have any cool RE stuff. RE 2 will always be my favorite, but my favorite RE memory is attached to 4. I bought it on launch with the guide. Picked up some friends and the 4 of us took turns playing it all night. One of the best nights ever!

My favorite is the remake of the original.
This was such an awesome video. Been a long week at work, so was stoked when I seen the notification of a new VGS video. Waited until my work week was over so I could enjoy fully without having to think about work in the morning. Favorite Resident Evil game has to be RE3 by far, just for the memories and time I sunk into the PS1 version. So many fantastic people in this video, the Hulkster has never looked better. Someone is going to win an amazing game, and collection piece for sure. Good Luck everyone. I hope one day I can experience a con like this, if nothing else for the experience and the chance to meet so many amazing people like yourself and the gang. Thank you for another incredible video, hope the con treated you incredible, from what we seen it did, but obviously we haven't seen 100% of it (or feel like we haven't), so hope it went well. Absolutely, had a lot of fun goofing around with everyone, and my second best convention in sales overall.
I got to play Resident Evil 2 overnight in a haunted house, w/ a buddy. EPIC. Heard some voices, had a door behind us open by itself, I wasn’t scared at all. Lol
One time while playing RE2 when I was 13, the fan in my bedroom stopped working and the TV flickered at the same time. It was just a weird power surge, but still freaked me out! lol
The 11 hour drive paid off, that last sale was incredible. I have resident evil 4 on gamecube, it's in the incredible long backlog
It had already been a great weekend, but to double my sales right at the end was pretty sweet.

I haven't played any of the Resident Evil games myself, but I remember watching someone stream Resident Evil 7. That was so freaky, especially in VR.
That's a great horror game, but is barely related to any of the other RE titles. Incredibly creepy!

It's a fairly small one, but proved to be well worth it. Hanging out with my friends and meeting some new ones made it even better.

Never really kept up with the series, but I have fond memories of playing Resident Evil 2 on the Nintendo 64, spooky times!
It was amazing they were able to pack that whole game onto a cartridge, and even add in one extra room.

I would have to say my favorite resident evil would be the Directors cut for the original, PlayStation, and resident evil one, two and three for the PlayStation, thank you Scott for all the videos bubble run

Great episode Scott! I’m a fan of all the RE games, but I haven’t finished many of them. I’m terrible at ammo management and tend to not have enough for certain bosses. I’ve only beaten 1, 5, and 6 of the mainline series.
Hehe yeah that's important in those games. Maybe get a Game Shark and cheat with some of those older ones lol.

I was really amazed by how many big item sales and trades I had. It was a fairly small convention, maybe 1,000+ people attended. A lot of vendors spending cash too.

I live about 10 minutes from the VBC but didn’t make it down there. But I drove 11 hours to the Wagon Wheel.

I recommend brake cleaner spray for removing old stickers from glossy cardboard.
Interesting technique. I've used all types of methods over the years depending on the material.
I'm probably excluded from winning the cart...since I signed it and all 😅
But I LOVE Resident Evil! The first remake is my favorite

I have that resident evil wii gun + nunchuck blade chronicles thing and it is hard to appraise! I think mine is brand new. Curious what you sold yours for?!
I had all the variants of these gun sets new sealed, with most just having different stickers on the box. I've sold them in the past couple years ranging between $90-$160.

I loved it, the way the zombies move in that game is extra creepy.

I was so excited to get RE1. Ive never actualy finished it though. The best two for me are 2 and suprisingly 7. I loved the perspective change and the focus being spookyness. I guess it was because it was not long after P.T and I really loved that. Played 7 in VR as well which was such a great new experience. I love when something was unique and it was for my favorite game series. I hated 5 so much i emailed capcom, lol.
I loved 7 too, but wish it would have had more things in it to tie it into the main series, instead of just a few things right at the end.

The last time i really enjoyed a Resident Evil game was RE4 on the Game Cube. Borrowed my cousin’s GC and had a blast beating it! Never got to try the chainsaw controller though…
I recommend checking out the RE4 remake.
I liked the first Soul Reaver game… thought it was scary back in the day

Original Resident Evil long box on PS1 for the win! Although I really like Code Veronica on the Dreamcast as well.

I like the original Resident evil I remember renting it from a local mom and pop store with my cousin growing up
I got my copy after we had a flood at our house when I was like 13. Insurance money bought me a PS1 and a bunch of games including Resident Evil. 😁

Favorite Resident Evil game, well i love pretty much almost all of them, besides a few exeptions, but it is hard to pick just one, but it has to be the first one because i played it when it came out, but since they came back and perfected it and added to it i will have to say the Resident Evil remake for gamecube, it is the way to go.
What are your thoughts on that upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake? I still wish we would have gotten Silent Hills.

That's probably my favorite RE as well, almost tide with RE2 (both original and Remake were fantastic). I'm still excited for Silent Hill 2. I'll take what I can get at this point lol.

I am a huge fan of the Resident Evil franchise. I have played and beat the 1st, 2nd and 3rd games on the PS1 multiple times and they are some of the best games I've ever played. I was never a fan of Resident Evil 4 though. Just don't care for how the style of game play was changed to the fps style. The re-imagining of the 1st game on the Gamecube is amazing, but I'd have to stay if I had to choose a favorite, it would be Resident Evil 2.

I can't remember the name but there was a resident evil that had a zombie elephant chase you. So many jump scares. Its a toss between the one I've described and resident evil 4

I'm a huge resident evil fan. Bought it when it first came out ( I still got my original long box copy). Best resident evil is resident evil 2 for the gamecom j/k... to me, my favorite resident evil is gaiden. I was obsessed with running around the boat playing pokemon style resident evil lol
lol That Gamecom title is hilarious, mainly for how quite it is with no music and barely any sound effects.
Of course I love Resident Evil games, Silent Hill is better though. Also wanted to say that I love that you still use the same intro song as the first episode after all these years, never change it Scott
Of course, Silent Hill just edges out RE for me too. I will always use that song for sure!
My Memories make it Gonna be Ps1 Resident Evil 2 for me.. as Sequels seem to get me & I even used to have a sealed copy in my collection while ago..
RE2 is in my top five favorite games of all time.

Resident Evil 2 easily, I still have my cib copy from way back. I played that game so many times. Honestly I have all the ps1 era resident evil games from way back, but re2 is my fav
That would be mine as well for the PS1 era.
Resident Evil 4 is the greatest but when they added the 3rd person mode on Resident Evil Villiage it was a close contender for first place!
I need to go back and play it in that mode.

I have really liked the resident evil games. I won't lie I haven't played a new resident evil since I tried out number five. The first one I played was the N64 of resident evil 2 I remember that being fun when I rented it from movie gallery and then I remember I put hours into resident evil code Veronica x for the PS2. And I really like the on rail shooter resident evil umbrella Chronicles for the Wii. This sucks though I wish I would have known about this convention and I would have went to it because I live in Huntsville.
Sorry you didn't make it out! I really recommend playing at least the remake of RE2 or RE7, amazing horror games.
