Do you know the basics of Italian politics? Do you know how Italian politics work outside of Italy, let's say Texas? learn more about it at www.italchannel.tv
I live in Germany, and I can say that the Ger6and the Italian Parliament System are very similar. Also the Italia and the German Presidents have almost the identical powers, and also identical is the voting system in both countries you vote for a political party in the whole and not for a special person.
Title in english, partially explained in english and partially in italian, no subtitles in english for italian sections, and no italian subs for english sections. And this is a video that supposedly would be able to explain the similarities and differences between the USA system and the Italian system, and manages to not help either side (unless you know both languages well enough). Just make two videos at this point.
thanks for the feedback. The video was created mainly for English speakers learning Italian, or Italian speakers learning English. If you fall into any of those categories you may find the video helpful in the way it was conceptualized and created... otherwise, we can see how you can find it pretty frustrating.
that's a good question. AT the time this video was made, Ms5 and Lega had a fairly radical stance compared to the established political parties. One could argue that their "edge" has dwindled over the years, and they have now become somewhat the establishment.
Why is the title in English but the whole thing is in Italian? Why not just put the title in Italian so we know they're not going to be speaking English?
easy to understand for italian learners!

The only difference is that coalitions in Germany tend to be solid.
@@arx3516 because Italian coalitions need the confidence of both houses.
I always hear that the current Italian system makes it impossibile for a government to do anything productive
That's true af
Not necessarily, it all depends on the parliamentary majority
Lol as an Italian I can confirm
The parliament exists to steal money
Very well done and explained

What about lega and ms5 is radical? Im trying to understand the climate here

Why have the title of this in English if its just going to be in Italian?
it's made for english speakers. Thank you for your comment.
Lega is not radical and so isn’t ms5. It’s always fascinating to watch left leaning individuals reveal their ideology trying to be neutral
this was done a few years ago, when both parties were considered pretty radical. thanks for sharing

Watch a bit further to hear English
exactly like i’m trying to do this for school😑
Interesting…
