I purchased a new G Scan 2 for $AU 5800.00 plus yearly updates for $AU 600.00 in 2016. Not really cost effective from a hobbyist point of view. But it is a must have tool with today's technology.

G-scan 2 with a lot of software flaws, couldn't program keys on honda pilot/accord, communication errors on 2006 mitsubishi evolution, I've been trying to let GIT team know about the software errors and glitches but they do not bother to respond, if anyone is interested in purchasing a G-scan 2 be in known that there is headaches that come alone with the scan tool, I do have a factory scan tool for Honda and mitsubishi, that's how I was able to finish the job without sending the cars to the dealership or locksmith, hope GIT team contacts me in the near future, I would be very happy to let them know that there is flaws in the scan tool's software..
