You can ween the cat to like water. Just keep the water a similar temp or just a tiny bit warmer than the cat and do not hose the cat. Keep calm as well.
17:07 That's a quarry, Kruz, that block, would be massive, like 10 or 20 metres high and would crush the machine you can just see above it, if it were underneath.
Most house cats on default don’t like water, but slowly introducing them to it, especially as a kitten, can help them feel comfortable in it, some even enjoy it
Hey Kruz! Not all cats hate water but from what i've seen most do 🥲 if you're getting a kitten you can try to get them used to being in water by bathing them in the sink or letting them walk in a bath tub with a small layer of water! Some cats loooove water, but not all. If they're introduced early on they're more likely to get used to it and not fight you when they're older! Same goes for cutting their nails. Also, cats love moving water so I do recommend a cat fountain. They're pretty cheap and cats usually don't drink as much water as they should so the more access to water they have the better. 💕 I have two cats, 2 and 3 years old, cant wait to see your new cat! 🫶
17:31 is a marble quarry, so yeah that was a full size excavator, and that marble block is between 6-15 tons and around 9ft tall when fallen, when standing I guess probably around 100ft tall.
Omg that sweater is amazing! I love it it's so cool! Looking forward to watching this, had a rough few weeks 😖 Also big congrats and welcome to Kyle! 🥳
5:38 Kruz have you really never seen somebody do that before? I learned how to do that in like 3rd grade. Basically, you make a fist, and press the outer edge (pinky side) of your hand against the window, then you make little toes with your finger.
8:53 I did this once when I was real little. My mom walked in, was bouta be furious, then I said “it’s snowing Mama!” and she thought it was the cutest thing. I don’t think I faced any consequences that day lol
some cat bath facts! most of them don't like water but if introduced slowly and or at a young age they don't mind. there are even some breeds that love water. there are also just some little freaks that do too but those are rare. cats don't normally need baths as it can dry out their skin and they do clean themselves, so just a wet washcloth works for them and simulates group grooming which can strengthen a bond between owner and cat.
Glad to see another one of these uploaded! These are how I introduced my gf to your content and we binge these all the time so we're grateful for another one lol
Yay for new full time employee and more content! Feels like its been forever since I have seen a vid cause I dont watch playthroughs of games I plan to play :p.
Hey Kruz, Like most have stated cats usually don't like water but might be able to introduce at young age though do in baby steps eventhough even doing in baby steps they may not like, but cats do like running water, hence a water fountain. Its normally breeds like the Turkish Angora that likes water but sphynx breeds if I remember correctly have a baths once week due to build up in oily/sweaty skin. I have 5 cats and never really given them a bath as they are indoor only (too many bad things ive heard of when cats go out, but maybe recommend a catio). I am also a volunteer foster carer for my local cat rescue. I'd also be wary of wires, certain plants, small objects, certain foods too but always consult your vet for more information.
8:30, some cats are weird and like water. One of the better ways to test it (that I can think of) once you get your cat is to slightly turn a sink on and see how the cat interacts with it
Another full time editor? Lets fing go! Also it depends on the cat, some hate water, and some don't. If they do you just got to slowly desensitize them to it.
5:45...u dont need a kid for that...just make a fist and use the side of your hand and then use your fingies for the toes(if u have them)..😂😂😂😂😂..i used to do that when i was younger.
5:50 Those aren't real baby footprints and this is an easy prank to reproduce. I used to do it all the time. Just make a fist, and use the bottom of your fist to make the heel print, then use your thumb and fingers to make the toe prints. You're welcome! 😎
You've heard of the term "Horsing Around" right? You would be surprised at how many times they play jokes on each other.. The horse one where he wanted to basically lick the other horse is them horsing around lol
For those that want to know how to do the baby feet prank on foggy glass! Ball your hand into a fist! Press the “bottom” of your fist on the pinky side against the glass. Keep your fist tight! For toes, sophisticated people will press their fingers together in a sort of “snake style” in karate… I don’t know of a better way to describe it.. anyways! Make the toes in the obvious spot above the foot! Easy and quick prank! Lovely to do in supermarkets in frozen food section!
you know those weren't actual baby footprints right Kruz? you just do it with the side of your hand and curled up little finger, and then dot the toes on after, no one was actually printing peoples cars with their baby feet XD
the cat question is if you get a kitten, introduce them to it in a nice way. and regularly so they get used to it (look up how to do it safely and you need to dry them), if its an adult cat? crapshoot. if your willing to get clawed a few times they might adjust =p. id also be careful just yoinking them up at any time. our cat gets cranky with my brother cause he just randomly reefs him up.... i call out to him and say up and he stops and lets me pick him up and even get a cuddle... good luck cats are awesome companions
What's really good is getting cherry tomatoes on a pizza. Slice them in half, and when you go to eat them, the sensation is so good when they pop in your mouth.
Cats usually hate water unless: 1) They are short-haired AND 2) have been made accustomed to being bathed from almost birth. There's no overwhelming benefit from going out of your way to teach that however. Don't be mean to a cat. Don't "goose" them - they'll do it back, often with claws out. Don't play fight, sometimes that gets out of control or a cat is more aggressive (especially dominant males) and expects to win - and might attack to do so. Don't allow small children around a cat - but let a cat to be around a child as long as it's supervised and the child is shown how to pet a cat and not try to pick it up or pull on fur or tail. You wouldn't want someone grabbing the hair on your head and swinging you around the room - especially hair at the extremities. I've seen MANY cat owners do these things, then hit the cat. This only builds MORE resentment. Angry cats are a bad idea. Bad owners make bad cats. I've owned cats for over five decades of my life. It makes me sick to see how many cat owners treat their cats. My cats have always acted protective and when I'm sick they are always around me like glue (much like my dogs were). Cats expect to be treated as equals - much like dogs. People think of cats and dogs as polar opposites. If your cat is standoffish it's because YOU are doing something that makes the cat feel unloved. As for recommendations: Long-haired cats need to be brushed EVERY DAY. If you don't get the cat used to that, you'll have mats in the fur in no time and they cause great pain to the cat cutting them out. Just saying. Been there. Long fur also tends to cause more fur balls. Icky to clean up. Short-hair cats still need grooming with a comb (a flea comb is good) around two/three times a week to get out loose fur (and check for fleas - even indoor cats get insects). If you have carpets and go outside, you could bring in fleas/ticks/mites. Carpets are a great place to infest and cats are a good animal to attack because of their fur. Some dogs are also - monthly treatments may be required. Animals rarely like it, but it's clear to them when the bugs go away why their human did it. Animals can get human diseases, you may want to invest in pet health insurance - check with your vet. Sometimes you can save most of the cost in preventative care. Lastly, if you can get two cats and/or kittens, do it. Cats are social, and while a cat likes a dog sometimes dogs can express too much energy resulting in a fight (probably not a serious one). The cat and dog need to set their own boundaries unless the fights are too serious. All animals need to feel safe and protected. Just like you.
Hey Kruz little side thing with cats and baths it does also depend on if you let them outside, if they are only indoor cats then you should only really have to bathe them it they should get fleas or are told to by your vet. cats skin can dry out and they can get sick very easily when their fur is wet :/ but really when it come down to you and your cat you’ll know best :) best of luck and hope you love the little fur baby :))
Some cats loooove water, and will even follow you into a shower and just chill. Some HATE water. The only thing all cats have in common is they are ALL PSYCHO. It's just different variations of crazy, but crazy none the less. Enjoy! 😂😂😂
8:30 Not all cats hate water, but it really depends on when you introduce it to them and how. Some cats rather enjoy water, though I suppose the method in which they interact with it also matters.
just a side note possums body temp is too low to carry rabies so they are fairly safe to handle and be around. the cutoff for rabies is a body temp of 90f and possum range in the 72 to 89f range
No my kat likes water so much that he’s drinking from the tap and if he can’t drink from it he screams at me and he can lie in the sink and doesn’t care about the water coming down😂
Congratulations to owning a cat, Edger is so cute. Not all cats hate water, you can actually find videos of ones swimming like dogs. One of my doesn't like water at all while the one doesn't mind it.
Speaking of randomly recommended videos. I didn't know who this was until I stepped away to blow my nose. Without the visual I recognized the voice from all the Among Us content.
Not all cats hate water just so you know. I have 3 cats ( two siblings and their mother)and one them loves it and whenever I'm washing dishes, the big one helps too ( he just plays with the faucet and splashes water over me). While the younger one, just watches his brother "helping".
98% of cats hate water Also Whipped Feta melted with roasted Cherry Tomatoes is a god tier chip dip, Cherry tomatoes cut in half then dipped in salt or sugar depending on your preference is also a lovely little snack
