One line that strikes me "In Georgian dance the weakness is not allowed" echoes directly to the story line. The main characters show their strength, by accepting who they truly are. Hats off to the amazing cast, their bravery and dedication!

I LOVED the performance of the lead actor Levan. So heartfelt, so unfledged, so raw. You can instantly feel what Merab feels. I also loved the fact, that the director has kept the film with a positive vibe, all the homophobia and heartbreak aside. There was a silent but unmissable critisism towards the church. The insight views of family life, eating culture and music (polyphonic singing) and of course the traditional Georgian dance were great. I am a gay man and have seen a lot of LGBTQ+ themed movies, but the Robyn-Honey scene was one of the sexiest scenes i have ever experienced in a movie because Merab opened up completely without fear or any struggles with his identity and was so much in love. I live in Germany and I have been to several places around the world but actually know nothing about our eastern neighburs which is a shame. Thank You so much!

Congratulations on the courage of the entire team that made this film possible!
I'm Brazilian, I didn't know Georgia and its conservative culture. I am happy that people like you shed light on systematized homophobia that all Gays in this beautiful country suffer. I would like to embrace all LABTQs who suffer from hatred and ignorance.

No body is talking about the actual DAMAGE this guy has caused to a lot of LGBTQ+ people by literally EXPLOITING their work, stealing their stories for a couple of hundred dollars, and the number of trans woman who has been MANIPULATED and taken advantage of during the production of this movie, with the FALSE dream that he has been selling around. He and his Swedish prod company is working with a lot of small local co-production companies in Turkey and Georgia, which paid almost nothing to these actors while Mr. Akin was doing weekly trips to Sweden to see his cats, with the money that they had been gathering by using their FAKE ‘ACTIVISM’ Just a bunch of privileged gay guy exploiting the misery his own people, tragic. This guy and his producers should start by paying people correctly, rather than spending their founds to silence local poor actors and people they made work almost (and sometimes totally) FREE! It only takes a journalist to reach out to these actors; and ask a copy of their 'unacceptable' and force-full contract (with a clouse which forbids and punishes actors if they ever communicate their contract with a 3rd party?!!) + None of these underpaid actors will touch any benefits from ANY copy rights (INSANE). Just ASK THEIR CONTRACTS.
What are those people doing now while he is selling his movie to all those platforms and filling his Swedish pocket with dollars?!
EURIMAGES and all the other institutions should inspect where their founds are being spent and how the cast and the team is being treated.
If you wanna make a more interesting interview than this PR one, go ahead and inspect the real stories of those Turkish and Georgian actors who have been harmed and traumatized by this Swedish guy..
Trans community got more than enough of the exploitation of white-collar cis-gays... It only means LOW COST PRODUCTION for Mr. Akin and his producers; FRENCH QUARTER FILM, EASY RIDERS FILM & YENI BIR FILM... He is a DANGER & DAMAGING Queer community...
