Does Genshin Impact have a Power Creep Problem?

This is a quick little rant about all the videos I've seen recently bemoaning power creep in Genshin Impact. This is by no means a comprehensive discussion on the subject just a bit of push back on a few key points I've seen people doom posting about one too many times.

Any content in the game is completed on 4* characters with 2* weapons. Some even limit themselves to 3* artefacts.
Therefore, in my opinion, even if one character is stronger than another, it matters very little since almost any character can show record damage numbers. It's just that this process will be more difficult for some.

You make a good point. Genshin is easy (for the most part) so you can clear the game with any character.
I like to switch playstyles every now and then so I've built up a decent roster. Doing that I learned that your knowledge of synergies and team composition are more important than how big a given character's numbers are. Actually learning the ins and outs of a character and their kit is key.
Like I mentioned briefly there are people who main Xinyan and can clear spiral abyss with her just fine (no shade to Xinyan or anyone who likes her).
Genshin is a game that actually benefits from skillful play, not to the level of Dark Souls but you can still tell a good player from a bad one.
