@Vikas Chaturvedi How come do you relate these two completely different tunes? I find no relation between them. This is a folk tune. The arrangement of the words are somehow similar to the typical chhand (छंद) of Hindi poetry. Music is entirely different. If at all there is similarity, please tell at which minute in Krishna song this tune appears.
@Vikas Chaturvedi With respect, the tune that you have pointed out is an almost exact match (except the scale, the pace, the use of chorus and the instruments) but it can by no means be called a COPY, primarily because both are based on folk music which nobody has any copyright over, something which Brajesh rightly points out. If you are a musician yourself, you'd know that every popular Indian tune is a pastiche of ragas and traditional folk. While I appreciate the fact that you pointed out a similar tune, it'd have been great if you could have appreciated the music of this ad as well. And the insult to the other commentator was unnecessary.
Sahil Shaikh Yes, quite catchy tune. It was originally from Ramanand Sagar’s Krishna ruclips.net/video/mrO3daezvtY/видео.html Later also used in one of the song of movie Vivah. ruclips.net/video/k0F3nceyxCs/видео.html
My uncle is there in this ad in first scene sitting on sofa and enjoying fresh air.First one from our family to come on any ad or TV.Proud moment. Thanks pidilite.
The amount of nuance in 90 seconds is mind blowing. From woman grinding spices wearing Ghunghat to Bengali husband bringing tea for his wife . From Dowry & Arranged marriage to love marriage. From marriage across the river Ganga to marriage overseas.
I say only one word... Outstanding.. Advertise shows Indian development also.. Black and white to color.. Deshi language to Hindi.. Arrange marriage to love Merrige.. Old home to apartment culture Ghughat To open culture
Is anyone noticed women empowerment in this add, how's the society changed in 60 year's. From a traditional sharmayin to modern independent Banglian. ...👍👍👍 Great job
Why is this ad brilliant? Aha...Fevicol's any ad is brilliant..but this stands apart because of its direction. > the film changes from the olden days' black and white to Eastman color and then HD as the 'era' changes > the 'thing' that covers the sofa changes according to time and family class - from kapda (normal) to rexin (collector) and then modern stuff > all old brides were doing some work (olden days); the collector biwi being served by the maid; and, the latest bride is watching TV and husband serving her (because of love marriage and modern era!) > again when it is said whether marriage happens or not, the sofa will be made...it goes back to the maker in black and white... And, across the ad, they have kept 'people' with green eye i.e. jealous of the sofa. I mean who thinks of such nuances? Keep it up Pidilite; while others indulge in filth and glamour, you win hearts by brilliance.
What I like about this advertisement is not just the catchy song but also it's 1.focus on *WOMEN* rather than *MEN* 2. Evolution of society Sharmaayin> Mishraayin> Collectraayin> Bangalan > Desh k bahar ki shaadi> Shaadi/no shaadi This traces the change in the society also where getting married is also an option.
