Were those cracks in the deck or just imperfections? Whatever mixture Bandai uses for their gold-ish color seems to have streaking issues a lot. It's a really ugly problem and I dunno what the solution is beyond 'change how you make the kit' or 'expect the buyer to paint it.'
Always impressed by your sticker applications. As someone with lousy eyesight and bad luck, if there's a way to mess up stickers, I'll find it. It's what's kept me from getting any of these ship kits so far, which sucks because they're all pretty cool.
