Oh is that what's going on here. How can there not be a law against that? They put laws in place to protect the species which I'm fine with but they are an apex predator that on occasion decides humans are on the menu and they belong in the wild not on our beaches. Luring them to our beaches is akin to driving home from the garbage dump while slowly dragging a fish behind to lure bears into town. It's an incredibly stupid thing to do. So stupid in fact that law makers never even thought of because who would expect you should need a law for something that should be just common sense.

Is this in south Africa? Because I'm from the Central Coast, NSW Australia and that shoreline in the background looks identical to our beaches, more specifically it looks exactly like my local budgee beach😮 down the road at Budgewoi
I have a weird fascination with sharks, but I’m also very disturbed by them, I have a fear of the sea a well (not being in my normal element, not having the chance to run away, not knowing what could be swimming right under you or next to you, and knowing creatures like this exist and could simply remove you from life if it felt the urge and nothing could be done to stop it) and I assume my fear of water is also brought on due to a fear of sharks. I didn’t always have it, I use to go out deep into the gulf and fish, we’d move to a new spot and I would jump into the water and take a quick dip, and then I’d get out, I would do this all through my teenage years. I don’t think anyone could possibly pay me to do that now, I wouldn’t even want to go out that deep, I’m talking anywhere from 25-45 miles out into the gulf. I have had close calls with my uncle out there as well, such as my uncle maneuvering the boat for whatever reason while it was anchored and somehow the anchor got caught around something (maybe the propeller) maybe the anchor wasn’t fully secured (I’m not that knowledgeable about this stuff, and my uncle could be a bit of a gambler when it comes to fishing and things like that, he’s been doing it literally all of his life, so he takes risks maybe where he shouldn’t, again I’m not knowledgeable enough to understand the errors he made) and during all this I wasn’t nervous or scared, I was simply to ignorant to be. Now that I’m a little older, I couldn’t imagine being in that position again. He’s also taken me out to a reef somewhere and I swam with Goliath grouper, the dumbest thing imaginable to me now, knowing the raw strength of those things. But all this, plus other stuff has given me a great fear of the sea over time, and maybe it’s irrational but it still scares me half to death to imagine myself out there again, and knowing how unforgiving the sea is. Forget it. But I still have a morbid curiosity with it. Then I see a video like this and it just compounds that fear, rational or irrational. I’ve only seen a shark in the water one time before while I was on a jet ski, I slowed it down to a crawl and was basically stationary and the water in Jamaica was so clear, I didn’t realize how clear it was until I saw something maybe 9-12 feet swim close to underneath me, it was probably like 10 to 15 feet down, my best guess. And again the naïvety of youth kept me calm. I would have a heart attack if that happened today. Hopefully I can get over it because I enjoy fishing, and i still go out on boats to fish occasionally, j but nothing even remotely close to what I would do as a teenager. For those who love the sea and love sharks I commend you, because you manage to get footage like this, but I just couldn’t do it myself.
Same here, I used to love the ocean when I was younger. There's something in sociology called a personal script. Which basically means that when we are young, we make decisions based off of this personal script. Teenagers think that they cannot die or that it will happen to somebody else, not them. This lasts a lot longer for men then for women. That's why the military is more than happy too accept 18 year olds even though they can't even legally smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. They can die for their country but cannot buy a pack of cigarettes or a six pack. The military thrives on this mentality because obviously an 18 year old kid with no family who thinks, if somebody's going to get shot it's not going to be me, because of their brain chemistry. My personal script ended at 15 and it's a total bummer because it prevents me from doing a lot of things that I once enjoyed. But I also enjoy living.
In the eyes of beholders & all Great White fans & viewers, this is probably one of the most spectacular & phenomenal rarity in nature to have witness/encounter a massive great white shark emerged within such close proximity from the shore/land. Awesomely majestic & breathtaking revelation of its dorsal fin above water & the serrated, jagged razor sharp jaws chomped upon bait/prey which sometimes triggered GW's lifeless dark eyes to roll over as white, contributed to the magnificence yet fearsome & ferocious manifestation of a perfect, apex predatory killing machine & unstoppable speedy torpedo. Nature had created & built GWS with such fearsome characteristic features & structures, horrifying enough to send chills down your spine & scare the hell out of you like a haunting nightmare. Respect & appreciate our magnificent, legendary & iconic Great White Sharks.

@@jordanfamily9134 In one particularly gruesome scene of "JAWS ll", an Orca was the victim of brutal attack by the enormously massive 25 footer Great White, carcass left stranded & rotten at the shore scavenged by seabirds. This horror scene was created for cinematic effect because in reality, an Orca is much larger & heavier than a GWS. Due to their massive size like the whales & their social intelligence, Orca pods are in fact the gangsters of the sea/ocean, capable of hunting other marine mammals & sharks species, even larger whales triple their body frame. A single, full grown GWS certainly has no match to an adult Orca. However, marine biology & nature has its own wonder or mysterious way to turn things around. Our vast deep oceans have inhabited the top apex predators, Sperm Whales-the largest toothed whales. The Bull Sperm Whale colossal size will never be intimidated by Orcas, can definitely take on an Orca pod. Orcas usually would avoid encounter with the Bull SW characterized by intense aggressiveness, smart & discerning enough not to go after such a gigantic mammalian. We've got 4+m great whites coming within 2m close to shore in Australia and with Summer coming, I hope people respect their boundaries. So many idiots actually chase the poor things just cruising passed. Exactly why most attacks are provoked. I accidentally kicked a tiger shark that had been under me in the Swan River and felt bad as fuck. Beautiful creatures❤.
@lisacounts2477 I was in its territory and I'm sure it was just cruising around so kicking it made me feel like a bitch. For all I know it was under me for a different reason and kicking it saved my limb but I highly doubt it. There's heaps of tigers and Bulls in the Swan River and although there's been attacks, it doesn't happen anywhere near as much as it could if they were really out for us. They're usually just cruising through doing their own thing. Edit - Tbh, I don't remember feeling any fear at all. Maybe I did but I mostly remember feeling bad. They waited until we were out of the water to tell me so maybe that helped. I knew a big tiger shark had been seen where we were swimming but I used to swim where sharks and crocs are a lot so it never really fazed me.
@rudolphmcneill515 I'm highly empathetic so definitely sensitive. If I see a car accident I can't help but tear up. I hate not being able to control it but it's a part of my personality I'm stuck with, I guess. If someone walks passed me and they're angry, I immediately feel it no matter how chill I felt beforehand. It makes me anxious about going into public places. Considerate is an awesome way to put it so thanks for that. I feel less wimpy😆. I'm not exactly a girly type of chic and don't cry over movies etc but when it comes to animals, I tend to have a massive soft spot that makes me vulnerable. My emotions are all over the place so instead of being worried I kicked a shark, I felt like a c^nt. You worded it a lot better (and quicker) so very well put👌🏻👍🏻.
The emergence & appearance of a massive gracious Great White was absolutely amazing & visually stunning in the shallows within such close proximity to the shoreline of Mossel Bay. Be intriguingly fascinated, incredibly amazed & blown away by the awesomely majestic dorsal fin of Jaws emerged & risen above the water surface, genuinely reflects on a spectacular, magnificent & legendary apex predatory killing machine & marine wildlife icon of our planet 🌎🌍. Baiters & teasers are NOT true shark lovers. Genuine shark lovers ought to refrain from baiting & teasing Great Whites for fun & entertainment but sincerely rescue & protect them at all costs from irrelevant harm because they are the biological white blood cells of our oceans' natural & ecological balance, truly precious for our future generations.
Love reading all your commentary posts. Like a unique & profound depiction & biological description of a wildlife journalist. Well done, keep up your good work. 👍👍👍
Looks like there's only ~6 feet between the fin and dorsal, and ~3.5 feet from head to dorsal, hence I would say this is a ~10-ft shark - which is on the avg size. Perhaps because it is still young. Tonnage? Who knows, but i would venture to guess it's less than 2 tons for sure.
Well at least they’re scarred over and not fresh. I got some major scars on my face too from 20 years ago, but I got arthritis from the bone fractures. That reminds me a Roxy the shark with the jaw injury / fracture… They were saying they were worried cause she’s not where she’s suppose to be. Hopefully she’s just shacking up with new mates.
That’s absolutely horrifying! The fact that it was in that depth of the beach. That’s my favorite place to swim. Dagumit. Now I have to be afraid to swim even in that depth
Everyone seems worried about the sharks being baited too close to shore. But actually, the loud, water piercing howl of the slow motion human banshee Karen is used as a natural deterrent throughout the waterpark of sharkland (as heard on this video), by shark security. Proven fact, great whites would rather eat other great whites, then a slow motion banshee Karen! 🤷♂️🦈 As a bowling pin manual stand up operator, you can take my word as gospel on the shark subject! 😎👍
Yeah my wife just asked me what I was watching. I was like shark stuff. She said it doesn’t sound like shark stuff. Not that I listened through my headphones it does sound like what she thought it sounded like. 😬
"Bruce", the animatronic great white shark was built three tons the size of this, like a gigantic monstrous beast & man-eating killing machine which made "JAWS" critically famous & the number one box office hit at that time.
@@joyanni3399the actual size of the Bruce models differed..depending on which shoot they needed. For example, the shot of Bruce swimming alongside the Orca when it first makes an appearance in the third act was “only” 15 feet in length (size of a Mercedes 4 door C class saloon). Some of the other models were indeed 25 feet
@@Slim_45 So about how many animatronic great whites do you recon the filming of JAWS to JAWS IV were actually built/manufactured by the production crews ??? Is third act referring to JAWS lll, a mother great white & offspring scene with two dolphins ??
@@joyanni3399 Jaws 2 used some of the original models..obviously creating the burnt effect around the sharks head. Jaws 3 would have used its own models for the baby and mother shark. Jaws 4 I believe used its own model..and was obviously the worst model used in any of the films. All in all I’m going to guess around 7 or 8 models in total (some models only included a head and only one working side of the shark for side views)

It's close to the beach because they're baiting
Don't feed them!! You are crazy so near to shore. They will come back and bite everyone.
And a small boat!
That last part of the audio. Total climax 😂😂

Background noise sounds like the souls of people he's eaten.😢
I didn’t even know what a shark was at 7yrs old then I seen the movie Jaws…it was terrifying to think of getting eaten alive and since then my motto been “if it doesn’t have chlorine in I don’t go in “
I was 9😂. I think Jaws should be studied for it's cultural impact. I've had a lifelong fear 😩😩😫of swimming at night ever since- and we had a swimming pool!!!! It's so crazy🤔

😮😮😮 very interesting speech and situations from your life. Good, man! Hi from Saint-Peterburg, Russia.
STAY SAFE MAN😮😮😊!
I can’t believe I read the whole thing lmaoooo but I totally agree with you as well ✌🏻🤭
Same here, I used to love the ocean when I was younger.
Did you ever swim out to sandbars and fish?
I’m just SO THANKFUL they don’t walk among us!!!

In the eyes of beholders & all Great White fans & viewers, this is probably one of the most spectacular & phenomenal rarity in nature to have witness/encounter a massive great white shark emerged within such close proximity from the shore/land.
Awesomely majestic & breathtaking revelation of its dorsal fin above water & the serrated, jagged razor sharp jaws chomped upon bait/prey which sometimes triggered GW's lifeless dark eyes to roll over as white,
contributed to the magnificence yet fearsome & ferocious manifestation of a perfect, apex predatory killing machine & unstoppable speedy torpedo.
Nature had created & built GWS with such fearsome characteristic features & structures, horrifying enough to send chills down your spine & scare the hell out of you like a haunting nightmare.
Respect & appreciate our magnificent, legendary & iconic Great White Sharks.

And then it encounters an Orca.
Game Over. 🪦
@@jordanfamily9134
In one particularly gruesome scene of "JAWS ll", an Orca was the victim of brutal attack by the enormously massive 25 footer Great White,
carcass left stranded & rotten at the shore scavenged by seabirds.
This horror scene was created for cinematic effect because in reality,
an Orca is much larger & heavier than a GWS.
Due to their massive size like the whales & their social intelligence,
Orca pods are in fact the gangsters of the sea/ocean, capable of hunting other marine mammals & sharks species, even larger whales triple their body frame.

The shark is scarry enough but that wailing in the background would scare the shark ! I mean really what the hell!! 😠😠😠☹️☹️☹️🇭🇲🦘🐨
This is why I don't know how to swim I watched that movie Jaws 😡😂
We've got 4+m great whites coming within 2m close to shore in Australia and with Summer coming, I hope people respect their boundaries. So many idiots actually chase the poor things just cruising passed. Exactly why most attacks are provoked.
I accidentally kicked a tiger shark that had been under me in the Swan River and felt bad as fuck. Beautiful creatures❤.
Why did you feel bad? I'm sure it scared the hell out of you at that moment. You know you didn't hurt it at all.
Some people are just sensitive and considerate like that.
I hope you mean miles and not metres.....because metres isn't true unless near a very deep jetty.
I think the audio of the zombies having an orgy, is more insidious than the shark !! 🥺
That looks like a large great white to me. It also looks like it's either been a few fights, or some place he wasnt supposed to be
The emergence & appearance of a massive gracious Great White was absolutely amazing & visually stunning in the shallows within such close proximity to the shoreline of Mossel Bay.
Be intriguingly fascinated, incredibly amazed & blown away by the awesomely majestic dorsal fin of Jaws emerged & risen above the water surface, genuinely reflects on a spectacular, magnificent & legendary
apex predatory killing machine & marine wildlife icon of our planet 🌎🌍.

Amazing creature of the sea. A terror monster. Frightening. Felt chills. I say 20 footer or 25 footer with 3 tons of him.
They’re gonna need a bigger boat ! ♥️🦈♥️🦈♥️🦈
Jaws 😂😂😂
Or her.
Hey, as I always say, it’s not the size of the fin that matters, it’s how you use it.
He has soooo many scars on his face and body been thru hell but still surviving 😮😊

Pretty much like Bruce, the shark of the movie Jaws! Beautiful!
"Bruce", the animatronic great white shark was built three tons the size of this, like a gigantic monstrous beast
& man-eating killing machine which made "JAWS" critically famous & the number one box office hit at that time.
@@Slim_45
So about how many animatronic great whites do you recon the filming of JAWS to JAWS IV were actually built/manufactured by the production crews ???
Is third act referring to JAWS lll,
a mother great white & offspring
scene with two dolphins ??
@@joyanni3399 Jaws 2 used some of the original models..obviously creating the burnt effect around the sharks head.
Jaws 3 would have used its own models for the baby and mother shark.
Jaws 4 I believe used its own model..and was obviously the worst model used in any of the films.
All in all I’m going to guess around 7 or 8 models in total (some models only included a head and only one working side of the shark for side views)
