OMG! This is by far the best tutorial I've come across for starting a website from scratch (especially for a beginner like myself). I have looked at several other tutorials, used other themes in WP but was overwhelmed and frustrated and spent hrs/days trying to get my website to function and look professional. i could use your help, is there anyway you can reset word press seem like as i was going through tylers video on RUclips and doing fine with it, i pressed on the word press icon on top left of screen and notice the was a Canadian version of word press so i down loaded now i cant log in or anything, is there a way to reset to original install ? all i have is a blank page?

If so, which level of WP service are you signing up for as it seems by signing up for WP through WP's site offers you 4 different options (Free, Personal, Premium, Business) with different levels of features?
Tyler says you are the go to guy for help. At the 42:18 mark on Tyler's great video, he shows us how to edit with the pencil widget. He is editing the bicycle section. His works and the "x" shows up to delete the potion of the section not wanted. Mine does not. I can't get the x to show up by either hovering or clicking on it or anything. Is there another way to delete that part of the section? Or to get that pencil editor to work? Thanks

I wish I could like this a thousand times. I am a beginner when it comes to building a website, and I mean BEGINNER beginner, like your explanation of domain names and hosting was a revelation. It took me probably three hours to get through this tutorial but I feel like I've learned more than a Website Building 101 course could offer. Your voice is very calming too, which helps because I usually want to throw my computer out the window when I'm dealing with any programming. Anyway, thank you again. I rarely leave comments on youtube. I just watch videos and most of them if seem to be interesting, I visit channels and if they have some useful or good content, I subscribe to them (rarely). But, Tyler you blew me, you shocked me with your hard work, sincerity, loyalty, and honesty. The way you present, you teach every single thing step by step with no step skipped completely left me in awe and compelled me to comment. I mean I was a guy with no web development ideas, no domain no hosting idea. But, after watching your 2 sessions. One you posted a few days back in January 2021 for blog website setup and now 2nd for store setup. I learned the basics and the whole artwork of how websites are built and how everything works with no cost, no paid course, no request for money like any other developers that tell us to get the paid course (which mostly can't afford). Almost 5 hours of sessions I watched and in both what I learned I don't know how to thank you but, I pray may you be blessed with the best for how you putting your heart and soul into your content to make it easy for us with zero skills. Thank you soooooo much, Tyler. You made my life so easy and my new journey towards online business the best and comfortable so far.
To be more, frankly speaking, what made me sadder is, when you say 'thank you for watching and log out' In each session, I was badly sad and told my self 'how Tyler class can end so fast, I want more to watch and learn more.' For years I have managed a few websites using MS FrontPage but it was fast becoming outdated. I finally have had ti bite the bullet and look for an alternative and decided to give WordPress a try. It is fair to say I wasn't making much progress and was literally tearing my hair out and I really hadn't moved past the first step until I discovered this video.
Initially it was a bit of a steep learning curve and now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, still a long way to go but at least I am getting an understanding of the concept and am moving forward.
Thanks to Tyler, the remainder of my hair may stay intact.

Hi Tyler, Awesome video, it really helped me big time in setting up my company website. One small technical question. Is there a plugin that will allow me to select one favicon for my desktop and a different app icon for iPhone and Android devices. As it stands now Wordpress just adds a black background to my transparent background favicon to create an app icon. I have a different platform appropriate design to use as an app icon, but I cannot figure out how to upload both. Thank you in advance.

For sure! Also if you find a solution (maybe a different plugin) that allows a lightbox to also pop up in mobile then please make that update. I've been searching and searching but haven't been successful. I'm specifically talking about adding the 'wp-video-lightbox' text in link relationship for the video in the menu section (as discussed in the updated version of your 2015 video). It doesn't pop-up in mobile. I even did WP LIVE to see if those guys could help but to no avail. Hopefully I'll find a solution soon. Thank you.
