I was diagnosed with PMDD and I am on Zoloft, and had the same anxiety you had. everything you said in the video about the small dose and how much it has helped you, is the SAME WAY i feel also. Im only on 25 mg. and i feel like it has changed my life. Its helped my marriage, and my life SO much, I actually feel NORMAL again!! Thank you So much for sharing and showing how its not a bad thing if our brain needs the help!! :-) I enjoy your videos so much Im glad things are back to semi normal with you guys. Keep the videos coming!!

I love the way taking meds for mental health was explained to me as I was young. I was told 'if you had diabetes, you'd take insulin so if your brain isn't working properly then you take medication to help'. That really helped explain it to me and I am very open about my mental health and meds like you are on your videos. Thank you for sharing and letting people know they aren't alone in what they're going through 😊
It is totally understandable that you are now beginning to process what happened to you. You were in survival mode. Now, you will begin to feel the loss. Be gentle with yourself, and see a therapist if needed. I understand antidepressants. I certainly need mine. I’m so glad that your med is working. Girlfriend, try 2 think of this home as a upgrade. I bet your kids love this house & all the space. It looks so bright & open, I love it 4 yall!! I would think in a way it would feel refreshing 2 have this house almost, cuz I'll say you did need the space..

I'm so thankful you're feeling better. I know you feel so much better just to feel less stress, and just able to deal with things in a calmer manner. I'm very proud of you for recognizing a problem, and willing to face it head on. So many people feel shame in needing helping from medicine. No shame in it at all. Keep up your great work. Prozac changed my life too. I resisted med for years but it’s the best thing ever
I'm glad you're working on your mental health and staying on meds. I just got taken off alot of my meds and I'm doing more things. Before I was sleeping alot and had no drive to do anything. God Bless You and yours .
I take Paxil as well. Its been a life saver for me

I cannot wait for your next video. Have you ever heard of Golo? It's not endorsed by any doctor but I've seen the commercials and I was gonna try it but I just don't know I talked to one doctor and he said I shouldn't do it, but I'm gonna talk to my doctor.

At least one of my sisters took Paxil and couldn't do her job because she didn't care about the fiddly, meaningless things that bosses want employees to fixate on, so she went to a different med rather than a different job.(That might not have been MY choice....)
Imo, it brings you down to the level most of us are on, and if you function well on it, I wouldn't worry about what other people think.
But since I'm "other people," I don't know what kind of observation that is.... 😂

The first time I sought help for my mental health, the doctor said, “Do you know how much better the world would be if there was a salt lick of an antidepressant on every street corner?” I laughed then, and I still think it’s hilariously true! We all could do with a little more serotonin ❤️

O M G!! I thought I was getting crazy, I feel like another person, more chill, less productive, I used to tell my doctor that I don't recognize myself. That there was a me before and after, even after 4 years, I'm still struggling and don't know who I am. Was diagnosed at first with depression and anxiety disorder, but a few weeks ago I was diagnosed with BDP.
It’s OK to suffer from emotional issues due to the big loss. Stuff is just stuff and your memories are forever. Having to go through deaths of my Mom, in laws and unmarried/partnered people it was amazing how their treasures went into the trash or to Goodwill. It’s great you’re seeking help and being a busy Mom helps to keep your mind busy.
The night sweats you are having could mean your going through pre menopause bc I know when i went through the night sweats it was very uncomfortable & sometimes i would sweat really bad and it would wake me up plus i was getting only a couple of hours of sleep every night till my dr did bloodwork and found out my hormones were out of wack so he put me on some hormone therapy and after a month I noticed a big improvement and the night sweats stopped . So ask your dr to do some bloodwork to make sure it’s all good . I was on paxil and I never had night sweats from it . I stopped taking it after i found out I was pregnant with my last baby. Now i take Zoloft after i suffered from having 4 strokes within a two month period and it was all do to my stress and anxiety levels that were thru the roof niw my zoloft has me way calm n i love it !!! Hope it all works out for you !!!
This is why I don’t want to move!! I know we will regret it… I love my little house and our neighbors. I know y’all didn’t have a choice. It’s very sad!
I went the opposite way as you did with your house…I went from renting a room in a 3,000 square foot home to owning a 1,050 square foot condo. Im just happy it’s mine. It’s not been easy by any means (a fire like y’all that wasn’t my fault/it was started by someone else) and dealing with the HOA. I also struggle with mental health. I think that’s why your vlogs resonate with me.
