I like it and agree with the feeling. I am 51 have ridden bikes all my life from Harleys to CBR 1000, I am now really enjoying small bikes. You really have to ride them. I guess it like that old adage "If I have to explain then you'll never understand." Great CB125 mate, but mine is better lol.
This is my favorite of the series. I used to ride stock 650cc + cruisers...boring as hell. This video pushed me to pickup a 300$ 1978 CB125S. I can work on it, it's nimble, throwable, practical and cheap as hell! It's the bees knees!
My fav so far. I love the focus on small bikes. Here (in the States) it's all about the swinging dick contest: displacement. Good grief. Anything over 900 and I go into sensory overload. Too heavy, to fat, too loud, too garish, too expensive. The only huge bikes I think are cool are those used by the Mexican biker gangs. And that's because those guys customize them to the point where they are so overwrought and ridiculous that they swing all the way around to being awesome again.
love it, and fully agree, crazy filtering in peak traffic is a lot of fun. the adrenaline that you get out of it is all you need to get you into work with a smile that lasts all day!
Just sold my '76 CB125. Great bike. If I didn't need to run it at 60 mph for most of my commute, I'd still have her. That thing was perfect in the city. Also found it funny how his headlight bobbed around and was even face down for a shot.
I have really been enjoying these videos. Shows the relationship between bike and rider. You do not need the latest 2,000 cc electronic wonder of a bike to have genuine fun and freedom. Thanks and looking for more! Your production quality is amazing. Great job all around.
I've been looking for one of these for ages here in France, unfortunatly they mostly come cheap but with no papers, only for scrap parts. The regular one's cost about 1500 to 3000 euros, and I can't possibly afford that. It really saddens me...
Wonderful production value in these episodes. Great job! I'm about to turn 18 and have been trying my hardest to get enough cash to buy my own bike, and these videos make me feel like i already have one!
I had a 1973 cl 125 in high school, totally stock, rode it all over the canyons near Santa Barbara, beat the shit out of it for 12k miles and it was totally reliable. I could ride around all week on a couple gallons of gas. And it was fun in the tight twisties, I swear I beat a BMW road bike. Going downhill anyway. Cheap, simple, lightweight, reliable.
Love this little bike. Been on thr search for a smaller displacement CB for awhile now, I would take anything 550 and under. Preferebly a 350 or a 550 but any of the others would be a blast. I may be a bit heavy for the 125 but it probably would be fine
"More racer" simply means more of the bike being ridden. I'd love to see a compilation of what happens when this rider and his bike spend an hour in heavy traffic.
I don't understand your comment?... Isn't the rider the 'racer'? I mean the process is rad to watch, but the end user enjoying the bike... isn't that what it's all about? Not the looks alone (cafe) and more the end enjoyment (racer)?
Hey man, love the bike but i was wondering how tall you are and how much you weigh? I'm looking into getting one of these bikes but i'll have to drive aways to get it; dont want to waste all that time and gas just to find out im too big for bike. I'm 6'1 about 200lbs but i've got some people telling me im to big and some saying im too small. and if you do thing i am to big for the bike can you recomend a 125cc bike that would fit my size? Thanks :D
Jordan is about 6"2' and weighs about 90kgs. Yes he looks a tad like a clown on a toy bike, but it zips him around and gets him up to 110km/ph on a good day ;-)
For me dude 300cc below is much suited in heavy traffic ,city rides , most of all parking the bike in the city yeah big bikes are great but city rides much easyer to ride a small bikes or scooters ! So yeah we need more bikes for more trials and that my friend buying bikes never ends 😂 like for me i need a japanese cruiser 400 would be great by now im using a scrambler honda
A lot of your videos focus more on the rider than the ride. Do you think you could do one without anybody talking? Maybe even a compilation of the riding scenes from all four videos so far, along with scenes of them actually working on the bikes. Just a little more racer, and a little less cafe.
perfect clip to watch before riding my wifes dr200se to the restaurant for a bite!! I ride 80cc to 929cc DFI all fun as hell! anyone who only respects one style of riding is usually douches only ride their zx6r around the mall looking for girls....riding isn't about impressing bystanders
Big ginger guy with a bubble visor helmet on a tiny little beat up 125. Not something I would ever imagine being cool, but he somehow pulls it off.
Exactly!
I like your philosophy of motorcycling. Minimalistic, pragmatic, economical, self sustaining - and of course fun.
This is my favorite video in the series. I've watched this countless times. I'm mesmerized by this guy and his amazing 125.
Headlight fail at 2:36 :D :D
CamShot videos Lmao
The smile on your face is worth a million bucks.
Great bikes, the small Hondas. Bought a Honda 200 ccm four weeks ago and build it up now. Greets from Germany
Tiny bikes are so great for this sort of thing. So simple and just fun.

Each bike in the story has got a story of its own i loved that vintage look he kept those seats ..damn
It's all about the rider and the bike. Gotta love it. Great job

"swinging dick contest: displacement"
I can't stop laughing... so funny and so true.
i like how the headlight goes down @2:32
bahahaha headlight pointing straight down @ 2:37
love it, and fully agree, crazy filtering in peak traffic is a lot of fun. the adrenaline that you get out of it is all you need to get you into work with a smile that lasts all day!
This is one of the best episode yet.
MORE CB125 VIDEOS!!!! LOVE IT!
I love the sound of CB125
Yeah, cafe racers are a fad alright.
A "fad" that's been going on for over half a century or more.
Just sold my '76 CB125. Great bike. If I didn't need to run it at 60 mph for most of my commute, I'd still have her. That thing was perfect in the city.

125cc Rules!

I'm currently riding a 135cc bike in the insane Vietnamese traffic and it can be a lot of fun.
I've been looking for one of these for ages here in France, unfortunatly they mostly come cheap but with no papers, only for scrap parts. The regular one's cost about 1500 to 3000 euros, and I can't possibly afford that. It really saddens me...
2:37 The head light hahaha. Brilliant Series.
Wonderful production value in these episodes. Great job! I'm about to turn 18 and have been trying my hardest to get enough cash to buy my own bike, and these videos make me feel like i already have one!

Another stellar production guys! Love the Ranga!

Working on a video of the ride as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
Inspiring video... Loved the color of your tank

You gotta come and ride in Dhaka city. We can build two old cg125's here and go around ;)

2:36 I think you're headlight, uhh...fell off...
thats what i was thinking, the headlight balls are falling off.😂
Hahaha! I know, wtf!? :p
Keep up the good work! These are great!
Sure, planning to do a riding highlights comp when we get to episode #10.
As usual, great story! Thank you)
Honda CB for Life. Wohooooo
loving the duct tape and the dodgy headlight 😝
Great job, congratulations!!
"More racer" simply means more of the bike being ridden. I'd love to see a compilation of what happens when this rider and his bike spend an hour in heavy traffic.
2:37 his headlight has fallen over. Time to get back to the garage there bud.
Awesome episode. Great work.
His bike headlights be like no dude your adrenaline rush is killing me.
I like this. Makes me want to go out and take my Yamaha YB100 cafe for a rip right now
Great series, cheers!
We write original music for each of our videos. I guess this one would just be called "Peak Hour". See the link in the description above.
very , very cool !!!
may be, you must see about indonesian cb 100 modification,,,
some evolution happened.
nice job..
Almost forgot, that was some mad air Jordan! Haha!
Great video
At the 1min mark is the stupidest most dangerous way of clamping handlebars I've ever seen, and this guy rides on public roads on that deathtrap!
Oh man, you are right.
I did not notice the ubolts holding the bars.
That's outhouse plumbing level tech right there.
I don't understand your comment?...
Isn't the rider the 'racer'? I mean the process is rad to watch, but the end user enjoying the bike... isn't that what it's all about? Not the looks alone (cafe) and more the end enjoyment (racer)?
I want to make my bike like that
Thanks! Check out our FAQ page on the Stories of Bike website which has a gear breakdown. The link is in the vid description.
I've a custom...I want to have a Café Racer too !!!
omg I don't even know how you guys saw that (headlights). lmfao

Thank you so much for the relply. Im 6'1 198 so im pretty sure this is the bike for me :)
You'll have a ton of fun, no doubt about it.
Does he has a page or something so I could check more on how he built the bike? #inspiresme
great vids!
yes.but on the next shot was perfect:-))
I'm almost sure that gas deposit is from a CG125, not CB125...😊👍❤
For me dude 300cc below is much suited in heavy traffic ,city rides , most of all parking the bike in the city yeah big bikes are great but city rides much easyer to ride a small bikes or scooters ! Nice video!
The headlight is loose....
The helmet is gorgeous! what brand is it?
Hey, I'm a filmmaker and rider. Nice work! Can I ask what you shot this on?
dont really think this is a cafe racer more of a scrambler or tracker
Yes I did
2:37 headlight almost falls off. lol.
How did you put the new lights
many motorcycles of this in the United States?
He should name that "soggy butt"
Hey guys, is it a Honda CB 125S ?
did the headlight fall loose at 2:37?
What jacket is he wearing?
A lot of your videos focus more on the rider than the ride. Do you think you could do one without anybody talking? Maybe even a compilation of the riding scenes from all four videos so far, along with scenes of them actually working on the bikes. Just a little more racer, and a little less cafe.
Did anyone notice his headlight falling off at 2:36?
wow i like
Is the battery just duct taped to the frame?
Yes. Yes it is.
Your headlight needs some more fixings, see 2:31
To call Cafe Racers a fad after all these years is just comical.
That helmet is so cool
what's it called?
Jack Axefist maybe biltwellinc.com
this is like a gq or esquire segment haha
What kind of helmet? Doesnt look like a bell.
Minimalistic is good, a wobbly headlight...not so good. Nice bike, not cafe though, more brat.
How has me mounted the battery???
With some quality duct tape, of course. 😏
keren motor nye.
Now I want to rip down all the plastics from my 450s
ikr :P
2.36 Headlight fall
Do it.
perfect clip to watch before riding my wifes dr200se to the restaurant for a bite!! I ride 80cc to 929cc DFI all fun as hell! anyone who only respects one style of riding is usually douches only ride their zx6r around the mall looking for girls....riding isn't about impressing bystanders
