We really enjoyed our visit there. A special moment, as my ancestors settled there after leaving France in the 1500s. As Americans, the one downside of traveling in Germany was no ice in drinks on a hot summer day. My husband found the Subway sandwich shop in Heidelberg, which was a dream after 5 hours exploring the castle and grounds. They had an ice machine, lol.
Ooh Heidelberg, the place where Dr. Jose Rizal spending there and one of his life moments in Heidelberg was: 1.Meeting some friends in the area including students who joined the chess club 2.Writing his poem about the city, To the Flowers of Heidelberg 3.Continue his study of ophthalmology with Otto Becker, professor at the University of Heidelberg 4.Learning German Language with some university friends 5.Continue writing his first novel, Noli Me Tangere until in Wilhelmsfeld
The one city the Anglo-Americans decided not to bomb. FDR traveled to Germany many times in his youth, so he was almost certainly familiar with Heidelberg.
Heidelberg is certainly 1 of Germany's top tourist attractions. But you might want to Google up the difference between the English language homophones Too, To, and Two (or even tu and 2)?!! 😉😊
Overstatement, like “too good to be true,” is not helping Heidelberg’s cause. It just sounds scammy and it’s a turn-off. Instead, just say something that people can relate to, like it’s a nice place to visit. Also, all the “romantic “ stuff just sounds fake. Historic. Picturesque. Charming. Those are okay.
So schön! Ich hoffe, eines Tages zu besuchen!
Ich auch!!!

Been there. Can vouch that it’s as genuinely good as it gets. Well worth the visit.
