Although theres still some continunity errors as well dr wily appeared in the season 2 finale of sonic for hire as part of mario's mafia however if megaman dies at the end takes place during sonic for hire then wily should still be in prison by the time sonic for hire season 2 ends as he states he was in prison for 15 years

It should be stated that it's not canon that he's Serges or Isoc in the X series. Also that Dr. Weil from the Zero series seems to only be a reference to Wily, rather than another iteration of him.
