This is one of my favorite fragrance houses! I purchased my first bottle of Amouage in 1993. I loved Le Labo's Aldehyde 44 and am glad you referenced it here. I am sure that I will love this as I have loved many others! Great review! :-)

Great review! I have only tried a few from amouage but I do enjoy them I may get a bottle at some point but I haven't decided on which one. This one sounds interesting but the bottle is just gorgeous I almost just wanna buy it for the bottle. Keep up the good work man!
I just blind bought this one as I do with most Amouage fragrances. At 1st I wasnt sure if I liked it but after wearing it a few days, it definitely grew on me. OMS, I get the rose and leather big time. Amazing you guys dont get the rose because radiates like crazy off my skin. Different than Lyric though...much more rough around the edges. It lasts FOREVER OMS, as most offerings do from this house. Happy with the purchase though Im sure it will get limited use here in GA. I cant see rockin this in temps north of 70 degrees. I bought Imitation Woman today. Really intriguing scent. The patchouli scent (with some ash) comes out on me. The scent plays a journey and subtley changed throughout the day, with different notes of incense, sandalwood, some blackcurrant, and some burnt patchouli coming back and forth. Definitely getting more of the base notes. Absolutely love it. Yes daring. Spray lightly.

I have a bit of a Love/Hate thing with Amouage.
Love the fragrances, but have trouble actually wearing them (if that makes sense)
I have 6, but only really wear Lyric man (and just on rosy occasions)

Since trying both Men's and Women's Imitation, I prefer the Women's fragrance. Love the Blackcurrant and Liquorice notes. The bottle design/ colour is really beautiful also. I believe it could be strong seller for Amouage.
I’ve only smelled reflection man from the house but this direction sounds very interesting.

Very easy going pear crispy smell with undertone of suede and a little crisp. 9 out of 10. Performance very very good.Go for it if you enjoy Amouage.Solid release for men
Amouge my favorite house I own 3 atm plan on getting this and 3 others just tried a sample of this I have dior homme black stem and not really a fan of that orris so I was hesitant about this but I dont get that strong orris like I do in Dior will be picking this up soon think I can be pukked of in summer at all ?

I am wearing it right now.The opening is too powdery and lipstick like, must be the iris.After a few minutes it gets more wearable and pleasant.I don't dislike it, but its a no for me right now.Thanks for the review guys

Men version similar to dior homme.. i do love women but doesnt last longer unlike epic interlude fate ... but they used denat rather than 39-c alchohol for old formula in all amouage make amouage weak in longevity.. my 2cent opinion love and hugs from malaysia💕💋

EASY, what you're looking for is Xerjoff Nio or Uden, and Xerjoff Renaissance. They are some of the best citrus fragrances in perfumery period, and they all have great performance. You honestly can't go wrong with any of them.

I think I'd probably enjoy the men's version of this better, aldehydes just flat-out smell like hairspray to me, and on my skin turn bitter.
