      Thank you for watching. Yeah, there's a lot of history in Scotland and barely any of it is actually taught. So many people my age are unaware our town had more than one railway station, but it gives me an excuse to research and explore.

      On the other side of the main road, directly across from passenger station frontage was the Station Hotel.
      Facing the hotel go down left, say 20 yards, to the wide gated entance. Now partially occupied by car sales company. Relic buildings can still be seen of the goods station and its lay out.
      One can visualise the small 3 wheel artic and trailer named Scammell Scarabs, used throughout the UK rail network, loading and unloading the freight and setting out delivering to various local customers.
