@mikec3971They are responsible for the vehicle they use on the job. Maybe one should be staying in car Now after reading comments i started agreeing with man complaints but then i realized they should keep their eyes on the vehicle so as to no one breaks in to take weapons. So they should be able to have view on the vehicle whenever possible. Because of the responsabilities to making sure no break in to vehicle they must be able to park vehicle where visibility. Dude was exercising his freedom of speech rights to question a position of authority who illegally parked in a no parking zone. What video are you watching? The female cop couldn’t put her ego in check and flipped the middle finger after getting called out. Why didn’t these two cops go through the drive through instead? Surely there’s many Timmies and Starbucks drive throughs in the big city of Toronto. Also, when exactly do police save any lives or property when crimes happen? Most of the time, cops show up after a crime has been committed. It was also the Toronto police who advised residents to leave their car keys at the front door for robbers to take. Where’s the service of the police when they tell people to hand their property over to carjackers and thieves? Maybe cops need to spend more time going after these carjackers instead of visiting coffee shops.
Interesting terminology used. This individual "targeted" them? Last I checked, OPP are all public servants and should act and be treated as such. Deflecting the actual concern of unprofessional conduct on the public servants behalf by trying to criminalize the gentleman who pointed out the simple fact, if we the public can't park there, why should they be able too? 🥴🤡
I mean I look at this from both sides on my side because I proudly Back the Blue 💙 all across North America I honestly do no blame her for doing that clearly she was annoyed at the guy harassing her and her partner. On the flip side if you are a Police Officer I do not think you should actually flip off someone and give someone the middle finger because that is highly unprofessional behaviour but hey it goes both ways.
It doesn't go both ways, she's supposed to be the professional not the guy filming her. She let him get to her, she failed. Could've easily ignored him, instead she gave him what he wanted. Attention.
These officers should be disciplined and pay parking fine for illegally parking. And it isn't just Toronto that has this problem with Police thinking they are above the laws. It is all over the country.
Why aren’t the cops held accountable for their actions?? If anyone else did this they’d be investigated or fired by their HR department or employer. Cops are NOT above the law. They work for the people and the community.
Why is no one mentioning the fact that he swore at the cop and he was following her and harrassing her ...he should of filed a complaint instead of harrassing and following and swearing at a cop
@isidhu1971 why do they need to flip off citizens and park illegally to respond, they weren't on a call .....thank fully you don't make any decisions either , because from the sounds of it you don't even pick the clothes you wear
Lots of people are just out to harass the cops …nothing better to do I guess! Put yourself in life threatening instances on a daily basis then you will get tired of these peons looking to catch you out for nothing! I wouldn’t be a cop for anything!
Calling a cop out for breaking the law is not harassing them though. Sure if the cops had just parked in a normal spot it wouldn't be an issue. But this is a case of 'rules for thee do not apply to me'.
People have no idea what officers deal with on a daily basis. Working with the public can be a nightmare. Having said that this officer acted in a childish and immature manner. A simple apology for parking illegally would have been very easy and de-escalate the situation which is a key component of doing that job. This also appeared very privileged, going into a Starbucks while illegally parked. There were many options for parking and illegally parking can put others in unsafe situations. Officers are paid very well and imo should feel very lucky to be selected for that job. They should set an example for others at all times.
@AberdeenRedpath does it really matter.. there is no expectation of privacy once you leave your house. Just don't be a Richard.. and you won't end up on you tube on the wrong side of public opinion.
Observation: In the past one officer would do a food and/or beverage run while the other officer and/or officer(s) stayed in set place. Was that protocol changed when an officer was murdered at a Tim Horton's alone picking up food for himself and colleagues?
If a cop with a gun and extensive physical training can't protect himself, then that says everything about how pitiful cops are. My Dad is a retired cop and he could take care of himself very well. I'd rather have them park illegally for 5 minutes and be back on patrol with coffee in hand, instead of driving back to the station for a formal 15 minute break or having a meal in the lunch room for an hour.
You guys are idiots. The police are aloud these perks because they put their lives on the line. Even when they order coffee sometimes the owners won't charge them.
@@mikec3971 wow you really are a complete idiot. Please go and step on a Lego
I don't see how this is absurd and disrespectful. The police can park their vehicles anywhere they want to. They just came into contact with an angry , stressed out and irrate man.
@mikec3971They are responsible for the vehicle they use on the job.
Maybe one should be staying in car
Now after reading comments i started agreeing with man complaints but then i realized they should keep their eyes on the vehicle so as to no one breaks in to take weapons. So they should be able to have view on the vehicle whenever possible. Because of the responsabilities to making sure no break in to vehicle they must be able to park vehicle where visibility.
One officer could remain in vehicle.
What new. There is no respect in society anymore either in the health care system or any where.

Cop = Tyrant. And she just proved it.
“Where do you expect us to park?” I got the same answer when I called out a parking enforcement officer who blocked the bike lane to give me a ticket for blocking the bike lane. Park in a legal spot “bro”. Do as I say, not as I do attitude with all of the TPS levels. And yea, I have this interaction recorded as well, I should submit it as well.
EMS responders need to be close to their vehicles, to respond quickly to an emergency if necessary.
They work 10 to 12 hour shifts...on the road. I'd rather see them park illegally for 5 minutes, to take a piss and grab a coffee and be back on patrol...instead of the whole shift back at the station, taking their two 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch watching Netflix.

Dude was wearing expensive glasses with high end technology trolling and harassing these officers with nothing better to do - he antagonizes them. I'd bet that all of you criticizing these officers; if put in a life or death situation where minutes or seconds mattered, wouldn't say squat about them parking illegally.
Oh way we investigated ourselves and found that we had done nothing wrong. That’s how it always works out by the way
Everyone in this comment section has seen this all the time on the road. It's good this guy is calling these cops out.
You blurr out this ignorant cop flipping him the bird, your a pathetic news agency.
This is actually so scary that these are the type of people that are actively working as cops with fully loaded guns

Ever since I had a bad experience with the Toronto police, my respect for them has dropped.
Fairly busy at Starbucks on taxpayer time bro😂
she does not have the maturity to be a cop... giving her a firearm is dangerous
A cop can't give the middle finger? But can turn their lights on whenever they want to run a red light? UH OK......... seriously who the fuck cares?
Good for the officer. 10% of Toronto residents are using the Food Banks and this is what CP24 is covering

Why is no one mentioning the fact that he swore at the cop and he was following her and harrassing her ...he should of filed a complaint instead of harrassing and following and swearing at a cop

Both should lose their jobs, police should be held to a higher standard given they know all the laws and enforce them , this is unacceptable
Thankfully you don't make those decisions. You want law enforcement to respond right! Put yourself in their shoes. Would you like to he harrassed.
@isidhu1971 why do they need to flip off citizens and park illegally to respond, they weren't on a call .....thank fully you don't make any decisions either , because from the sounds of it you don't even pick the clothes you wear

It's statistically more dangerous to be a construction worker than a police officer.

Nobody gives a fuck what they deal with. They get paid accordingly. That doesn't give them the right to ignore basic laws. You fucking clown

How is just recording stirring the pot? His channel is about government accountability. Of course he's going to do investigative journalism.
Just recording isn’t. You’re right. Did you watch the whole video? Recording and instigating people until you get a reaction for views isn’t the same shit. Editing your video to get views isn’t the same thing. The whole video isn’t the general public dealing with a salty officer. The whole video is showing him treating a fellow human being (which police officers are) with utter disrespect to get a reaction. That’s also the video he edited and uploaded. So god knows what else he said. These people are out here every day. Dealing with the worst people in society and dealing with shit you couldn’t comprehend. But let’s judge them on an edited video. Over fucking parking. Grow up.
