I disagree. because the hair line is in the front of the head, the barber is going to have to be able to take from the the bulk of the hair to frame the cut right. braids can be worked which ever way they need to be. that's the way I see it 😘
His hairline is fine the taper is my issue. I have locs so I make sure I have a clean part in between my taper first then cut then retwist. But I do everything myself ( and cutting will be quicker than the retwist). With that much growth tho he should’ve gotten braided first iMO. The front taper is a lot wider than it should be and uneven.

I normally hate the enhancements, but in this case, with the volume of hair and the transformation of the front, side, and back tapered fades, this was a great upgrade on an already high-value cut.

This channel is strangely relaxing plus kinda fascinating cause the haircuts are so different than any I personally experienced on my white female hair and it is just interesting for some reason. Makeovers of any kind are always quite satisfying. Artists doing their craft too. I keep watching the channel lately. This gentleman looked really pleased! Abput the spray enhancements I wonder if it washes out in first hair wash and if clients ever continue doing that themselves?

I would've tightened up the part up a bit. Even if it wasn't long enough. I would parted it to make it look better and let it grow into the rest.
He may aswell go one level all over and regrow. The last barber did him dirty, cut too much of his hair down at the front, sides and back transition aint smooth. Can see why he didn't cut it for a while. He needs to keep it in braids even so the braid at the front will start in the middle if his head cos its cut down so much. 4 amazing as always brudda.

Interesting style! Love the man bun!! A more sustainable solution might have been braiding all the hair to retain his edges then do a line up around the perimeter of the braids. 🤷🏾♀️ but I know nothing. I wear headwraps and let my hair free form loc between washes 🤷🏾♀️

What is a bulk lining?
@@wikiorg379 in this case "bulk" means the longer hair on top, "disconnect" means when the bulk/longer hair on top doesn't connect/blend into the hair on the sides, & "bulking out" or "bulk out" means to cut down to the desired length. I'll use an example. Let's say your client wants a disconnect with a #2 on the sides & doesn't want to touch the hair on top so because the sides & top are not going to be blended into each other, this will make it a disconnect. You would first bulk out the hair on the sides to a #2. While bulking out the sides, your creating a line all around up to the bulk on top. We'll in my opinion that line your creating at the disconnect should be symmetric all around. In the video the line at the disconnect is not symmetric, it's crooked. Me personally, I would have cut into the bulk as needed to create a more symmetric line all around the head. I'm very detailed in this explanation cuz in many videos, barbers will use these terms when describing their cuts. Hopefully this will help with future videos too.
