And disabled... The government basically punishes us for being diagnosed with a physical or neurological medical condition. They give us so little to live on on Social Security you cannot even pay rent, especially where I am in Northern California. I really hope that young man finds help and peace. ✨

Michael we lost a unhoused person in my community last night. It was cold and news reports say an off duty officer found the body in a dumpster on fire - very cold here -15 degrees Celsius last night 😢 😔 😞 I’m so sad. Thank you for everything you do ❤
People are going around and pouring kerosene or gas on their tents, while they are sleeping! My daughter's friend was badly burned in Chico. When the camps have fires, I believe they are intentionally set.

This man was definitely in serious infection and could possibly lose his legs. I really hope he goes to the hospital and maybe rehab (though that's a stretch but could happen). I think it's because they're self medicating underlying issues with mental health. Which wouldn't be necessary if mental health care were available.
