Ce cover me fait vraiment plaisir ! Les souvenirs reviennent, des fin de soirée à jouer de la musique. C'est un beau cadeau que tu me fais en posant cette chanson ce matin. Merci. Thank you
Hi fellow bassists, I'm having trouble tuning my A string to fit the original record, it keeps sounding slightly out of tune. Anybody who has faced the same issue?
Cool bassline the verse is vi iii vi bVI bVII I Ii V I IV As to say on guitar chords C# G# C# C D E F# B7 E A F# B7 E (A) Dmin Bb C A is the IV of E major Treated as a dominant V7 Phrigian dominant is V of D harmonic minor . That is the modulation between E major and Dminor The C D E are C and D from the parallel minor to E major The ending is C F6 to Bb7b5 which is the IV chord of F melodic minor . F is the IV of C major it is substituted as a I chord then the new key F major is substituted with Melodic minor . C B Amin dminor G C4 B A minor D sus2 G4
Hi how are you doing?? I wanted to know if you could upload David Gates' Lorilee tab. I need to bring up that topic and I can't find the tab anywhere. Thank you
Nice! Very smooth and in the pocket! But I don't think it's a good idea to match the exact pitch of the original recording. It's most accurate yes, but makes no sense for practicing purposes. Just my 2cents.😉😁
@@edriggs8564 No, its off like, by a quarter of a tone. This is common with tape deck era recordings. Some amount of varispeeding would be applied to the master, so it's not exactly at 440 Hz.
YES! YES! YES! We definitely need Free's "Mr.Big" and Led Zeppelin's "Since I've Been Loving You." I CANNOT find them with Tabs. Anyway, amazing job, Jason!
Yes, a great player. He came up with some amazing bass parts. I’m sad that (bass tabs by) Jason neglected to put Carl’s name anywhere on the post as it’s his work he is doing a cover of, yet he mentions Skydog in the description.
I have heard this song a million times but only today noticed the sick bassline, I had to hear it better so here I am.
I love it when I rediscover songs thanks to the bassline !
Love it very much u nailed it like a boss !!!
Carl Raddle is an under-appreciated bassist. Check out Let It Rain in particular. And Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad.
Let it rain was Stephen stills on bass

The tone 😍🔥
best bass cover i have ever seen. massive respect!!
I like this TONE!!
Jimmy was cutting every link between himself and the robbery when it had nothing to do with me.
"The trick is not getting hypnotized by Skydog's immaculate guitar solo"
Not an easy trick to pull, by they way :)
A liitle louder on the bass end so we can hear the prefection you are projecting!. This is a claasic well played! Thank you.

The 11 33 55 I get (making daa duu daa duu) but the faster part is hard to pick up, is it 353 played fast?

Renzo Calcagno , its a little chorusey but stuff happens.

this is interesting, how would you play it instead?
@@randomaccount5725 Easy! Just tune up to A 440Hz reference pitch. 😉
@@renzocalcagno536 oh yeah.. seems like a dumb question now haha but thx for answering :)
great cover dude!
could you maker a cover of Mr.Big-Free please
Mr Big from Free Live!
YES! YES! YES! We definitely need Free's "Mr.Big" and Led Zeppelin's "Since I've Been Loving You." I CANNOT find them with Tabs. Anyway, amazing job, Jason!
That would be great! Although I do believe the studio version solo is more complicated than the live one.
Fantastic, spectacular
Yes!
Is it hard to perform for a novice like me?😅
carl radle is a jenius👍
Waoooo... suena excelente...suena Súper !!!!
It’s a great cover and a job well done but… surely you need to credit Carl Radle somewhere on your video?
What's the tuning?
Standard but 1/2 to 3/4 sharp somewere in there
Great job! What fender bass is that?
It’s the flea active signature
Love it
What do the x’s stand for?
they're dead notes
Hold your finger over the string but don't press down onto the fret. Like a note's been played but it has no pitch. Adds to the rhythm though.
Your a actual badass
Cool!!
What bass brand ??
Seems like a fender p-bass probably upgraded or custom.
Fender Flea active jazz bass.
Are those Tapewounds?
q cuerdas utiliza? gracias
Lit🔥
Great version. The original has the bass so low in the mix I can hardly hear it and that's a shame.
Fun!
Excelente huuuuuu
Acho que eu sou o único que acha a linha do baixo melhor que o da guitarra nessa música
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻
Carl Radle Domino's bass man.

😃😃👍👍👏👏

Such a repetitive song.
It's called the chorus
Welcome to bass playing. Our role is to maintain the rhythm. If you want to be obnoxious and flashy then electric guitar is for you.
