@thewaysh I think the picture has something spiritual to it as well. After a big change to your lifestyle for example through a natural disaster you can rebuild everything materialistic and you can also reinvent yourself as a person. Awaken your inner self and start thinking about more relevant things in life.

omg that intro is from The Venus Project. Amazing work those people do. Its in Zeitgeist 3 i believe, if you've never seen anything on it, do some research. It is eye opening.
That is inaccurate. Centralized planning can certainly work when you take the human ambition for power and control out of the equation. Robotics have been designed to create a self sustaining reality for us. That mindset is like living by candlelight and saying that the light bulb will never give light because you don't know how to source its power. Everything comes with its pros and cons, its just the matter of problem solving in the direction that would best suit you and those around you. Actually look into The Venus Project with an open mind and see if you can discover the potential of another way of living and honestly weigh that to the life you live to this day. Economy was great for us in the past... much like the bartering system -- now its time to think of the next stage in life.

Its true that the basic economic problem, that "consumers wants are infinite, but resources are finite" is the reason why this system could not work. Inequality of income and the idea of profit is what drives a large part of innovation, without it, why would people decide to be a dentist over a bin-collector? There too many assumptions about the economic behaviour of individuals and firms that's required to make this possible. The price mechanism is literally to allocate resources effectively to consumers, although there's many instances where firms aren't allocative efficient whatsoever, charging high prices of goods and services that do not cost much resources to make whatsoever, Pepsi could be a example whereby their profit margins mean they can basically print money. Although its not a perfect mechanism, it's a necessary one to ensure a medium for exchange in terms of currency, whilst limiting the consumption of consumers. If the Venus project abolishes the price mechanism, there will be another currency that will naturally have to exist in order to maintain resource levels. An extreme example could be the currency used in "In Time" - the movie if you've ever seen it :)
Planned economies aren't impossible to implement. But they have many flaws, although everybody is equal, the standard of living isn't as incredible as people think it would be. The absence of profit means that firms wont be motivated to innovate goods and services, the chase for technological advancements is funded and perused in the hopes for competitive advantages and therefore profit. Our standard of living would be good, relative to the mass inequality we face today, but it's unlikely to drastically change throughout the future, whether it's worth it or not is debatable though

Fucking finally this has been playing on repeat in my mind for ages but I couldn't remember the name, finally youtube decided to put it in a playlist and I found I again, no more now its in my personal playlists

long time no see my friend. glad that these tracklists still exist. they saved my mental health many times in the past decade.. now i am going to my 30s and still coming back to these tracks.
This song just goes to show that dubstep isn't just bass and synth over and over again, it can be really inspiring like this song. I think in means more than any songs, because those genre's can't give a picture to your mind as beautiful as this type of dubstep does. People who like hip-hop ar always like "dubstep is just the same thing over and over again, its boring" but in case you haven't noticed, hiphop is always saying "Pop a molly, drink up, do some weed, and have sex with bitches" its the same thing and then their like "its hiphop culture!" but maybe its in dubsteps culture too! I've come to realize that the new popular genre's are usually based areound the surroundings. Now with all the new technology dubstep has a perfect match to it. Arkasia inspires me and others
Bogdan Fota Hip hop died in 1998. Wu tang and Tribe were the last albums. All I hear today is different versions of dirty south beats and I can't stand to listen to it.

To figure it out: the products, as it turns out, are for how much money you can get. If there is a problem in society, and you can't earn money from solving that problem, then it won't be done. Research based upon this, is really not close to anything that's been tried and with our technology today we can create ABUNDANCE. It can be used to improve everyone's lifestyle. Abundance all over the world if we use our technology wisely and maintain the environment.

The first time I heard this song, it automatically became part of one of the greatest dubstep songs I've heard. I love how Arkasia chose those specific lyrics and the title. A perfect way to share an important message as a fucking amazing tune takes over.

I should have it was damn good, Even brought in subjects like the Federal reserve system, military spending, in the military industrial complex and the Rothschild's agenda, to seize financial control over the few countries left and how it funds war. Arkasia releases the best songs ever. They are so good that, I could just listen to them over and over again everyday of the week. I think that sounds too dramatic, But its a fact. The ideas from the Pingas Project as well as the Timespirit Movement are mainly derived from the ideas that Technocracy Inc. has been figuring out in the last century.
