Awesome, lockdown is a great excuse to get the mods done. Bulltown Spur to get down to Crooked River was interesting, I'll admit I had my Downhill Accent Control on in parts and the drop down off Mcmillans Rd is tight and on a crazy angle. Crooked river was beautiful. I hear its running pretty high at the moment.
@@thewanderingnewbie1 yes righto, my Hilux is a bit old so I don't have any downhill control or ESP haha just the good old engine braking 🤣, what was the place near licola you showed me a few weeks back? Near the Macalister river?
@@thewanderingnewbie1 yea ok I'll make sure to check bit out, and you said that was the first place you went out solo? Because I'm looking to do a solo Camo in a few weeks myself and it looked really nice
@@thewanderingnewbie1 sorry after going back through my Facebook post it's was the Mitchell river angusvale campground haha the maps says that the park is closed at the moment tho witch's sucks
I know right! Makes me sound like a rally driver. One of my first vids someone called me a 'Rev Head' I had to point out it was in x3. Have fun, Crooked River is beautiful.
took Bulltown Spur Tk. Then once at Talbotville followed Crooked River Rd out to Dargo. Bulltown Spur is steep and rocky and very few places to pass cars coming the other way but it's not difficult in the dry.
@@thewanderingnewbie1 thankyou. Just did it today from talbotvile to kingwill bridge river crossing there is quite deep but good fun. Thanks for the videos
yes, did Crooked River Road. None of the fords were running deep and had no issues. The very last ford on the way to Dargo has a nice pointy rock right in the middle of the exit and no real way round it. Wonnangatta Rd just goes on and on and on the only drama is taking care not to fall asleep!
Looks like a really good track, got some 31"AT on my rig now just waiting to get my bullbar on and I'm off haha 👍 great video 🤠👍

The prado just likes to go fast! I think you mean Macalister gorge, You have to go along Burgoyne Track to get in but it's an awesome place to camp.

I love the nature sounds. I’m surprised I’ve never seen your channel before. Is that a diesel rig?😊

Great vid. Did you do the other section from Talbotville back to Dargo too?
