Great old song Bob, a quite amusing one and you sang and played it wonderfully! Enjoyed it very much! Have a happy Friday and a great weekend too! ... FrAnK
Yeah! I ran a family folk night some years back at my school and one of the parents, a folk-singer sung this with his wife and two little children each singing a verse. He really entered the spirit of things by donning a full miner's outfit plus coal dust and singing with the safety lamp flashing around the hall. Brought the house down! You Geordies huh?

I love this Geordie song. What are the chords.

How's aboot a verse or two of "Wor Geordie's Lost His Benker"
Hi Johnny. Al put "Wor Geordie's Lost His Penker" on me list an mebby get ti rit sum day. Bob
I've always played it in D (D, A7, D, G, D, E7, A7). I think the seventh chords give it a more interesting sound.
Would this sound better on electric or acoustic guitar.
KEREN BANG ❌💊
