- Welcome to OSRS Time Traveller Ironman. My goal is to work through all of the content in OSRS's development one month at a time.
March has already been a behemoth of a month but it's not over yet. We need to take on a backlogged grind that has been put off from February of 2002, the amulet of glory. It may seem a simple task because we already have the dragonstone, but little did I realize I had a 100+ hour grind a head of me.

Are you going to be allowing yourself to equip gauntlets and a plate body? I assume that falls under the rsc mechanics stuff, but it is pretty easy to just not do.
I actually am going to enforce the restriction you say! It's a restriction i forgot about but also didn't super matter until family crest gauntlets come out, as you say. I'll explain this when I get them, but yeah for the most part I'll be using a chainbody from here on out.

I wonder if there’s any info out there as to why those bushes were placed blocking the path to the abandoned building. Did Jagex think crafting xp rates would be too OP if they weren’t there?
I wouldn't be surprised - Jagex balanced things incredibly harshly in the early days!
A lot of early RuneScape extends distances arbitrarily using terrain. It makes things feel farther apart without needing to devote map space to putting them far apart. A lot of fairy rings are set up so you have to circle around terrain to get to or leave them.

Kinda silly that the only thing the amulet of power is better than the glory for is defense...
Forgot to mention this in the video, but yep the power amulet technically has it beat, which may give it a niche use but not enough to be worth holding onto.
