Islam would have been extinct because of the dynasty of the Umayyads , which did not follow the teachings of Islam, headed by Yazid, but the sacrifice of Imam Hussein showed the world how much they are such a terrible people

In the entire history of Islam
No one made such sacrifices as Imam hussain(a.s) made
He sacrificed his own children, he watched them die, he fought all alone against an army of 20-30,000 in the blistering heat of iraq deprived of food and water for 3 days
His 6 month old baby was martyred in his arms 😪💔
Hussain is the reason why islam exists today

Kaaf ha ya ayn sad has a story behind it about imam al hussain alayhisalam and how even zakharia as wept about hussain as 🌹the Kaf: the name of Karbala, and the Ha: the destruction of the family, and the Ya: Yazid (may Allah damn him) and ‘Ain: his (Hussain’s) thirst and Saad: his (Hussain’s) patience.
