    A lot of writing links to politics, but not everything... Just look at stuff which comments on human nature like Shakespeare. Sure, at a push you could say that feeds into politics, but if you're going to make it that vague why even bother saying it in the first place? It's like me saying everything comes back to religion, or sex, or money, etc...
    Great talk though.

      All writing is political because all writers have a political perspective. Even writing that is explicitly apolitical is, contextually, an implicit rejection of the political zeitgeist.
