He's like a god. So immensely talented, and opinionated. I've been on this train since 1991. I'm kind of in the same boat as him. I despise life, but just keep being healthy and alive. UGH!
@@dfblasedhu3609 I am sorry. i just listened again. i am 58 and want to retire. sorry to say. methinks he should too. hop ethios does not cheese you off . it has all gone. is like a shell of the past
I'm from Manchester, saw Morrisey first when he was in the nosebleeds his first band before the Smiths, managed to get over to Vegas to see him back in 2011. Seen him about 10 times and he gets better with age, needs to drop the tambourine tho.
Another WHFS Classic. I miss the real computerless versions of that Station. The versions of Jerry Hoyt, and Mr. Spam revived in the late 00s and 2010s were also very good respectively.
Is no one else going to mention the obvious? Irregardless of how much Morrisey was an iconic cult legend, (from the 80s & early 90s) this version of the song, with him singing in 2022, is awful. (or as Simon Cowl would say “Dreadful”) - If I didn’t see the video title, & if I heard the song with my eyes closed, I would think Joe Biden was singing this song.
@@nickjones2656 I agree about Manchester 2002. My main point in this video, was that: Morrissey sound like a very old dude in this video. (I wasn’t referring to the band’s possibly ineptness)

It's as if he grew into this persona. but no...obtuse is his middle name, always was, and he still pulls a respectable and diverse and young U.S. crowd
Johnny Fuckin Marr is still out there too, but I know what you mean when you say "come on the haters." I've been blasted before in other comments sections and I don't like it.
Morrisey is a good writer. But, his imagination seems to be linked to this idea that some sort of better Britain existed in the early 60's. It wasn't any better then than now.
I was there, with my 8 year old daughter. Her first show. We had so much fun and we never forget it!
You are a magnificent parent!
When you can share beautifull moments whith your love ones . That's the biggest gift ever
We flew out from England for this
The greatest they has and will ever be, morrissey is a genius
What a sound. Class. My favourite Morrisey song.
What a song and what a singer. Lots of feeling, something very missing from today.
It was my youth - bittersweet to listen to this at 52.
Decent human.. He is also a great writer. His autobiography is a masterpiece. Up there with the great writers.

Thank you LV for allowing my God to strutt. I now will visit and experience

It’s Alright Ma (I’m Only Bleeding)
I would put Robert Smith up there with Morrissey too...

Just as I finished reading your comment, he tossed it away 😘
A timeless classic, mozza you do the English proud!!
Viva Morrissey. Manchester's finest crooner
I love you, Morrissey. I can't wait to see you in November.
One of Mozza's finest.
Amazing sound.
Love it !!
Morrisey is the boss!!!
Beautiful song 👍🤠🇺🇸✝️😚👐
Man still so good
What a song!
Melodia para o futuro, linda música 🎶
Man is a genius.
The smiths got me through my teenage angst
Quiero llorar 😍❤️🥺🥺
Love it ❤
The facts the world will never see the Smiths perform again is a total tragedy
Un Grandeee
Nice song! I use to listen from my Viva Hate LP unfortunately only 2 or 3 songs are " elected " on it

I was there this night. Did you see MeMeMeeeeeee, Chief? Section A, I think row 28 and seats 7 and 8 ~I do not recall...
What the hell I was in Vegas on July. Shit can't believe i missed this, next time!!!
Grande anos 80!!!!
Uma das melhores bandas!
Sempre lindo

Linda demais essa música
😍😍😍
Legend, I followed the smiths in the early eighties,
Coisa linda top
Temperamento único...
Wow
It's like listening to the Messiah 😳
look, he showed up!
O cara canta muito
what was the lineup for this concert?
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Isn't it terrible how people concentrate more on their mobile phones than on the actual performance?
Filming him you mean ?
Living live through a screen
Just be in the moment, people. Trust me. It's better that way. Why would you put an electronic device between yourself and Morrissey?
Those mobiles are turning into a curse. Similar to a crack pipe that you cant put down.
Não entendi aquele galho ali atrás naquele clipe, mas tudo bem Morissey
Não me convidou triste Morrisey caramba
It's to sing song like this we try learning music
Disliking Smiths/Morrisey is fine if you're a colossal squid head.
Memphis Dan LeLoLai
The Smiths forever
Special guest stars Blur
Imagine everyone going to see him in the early 90's and they all brought a Camcorder to record the show. It would look ridiculous right ?
Vegas was made for Mozza....
🙂
phones, the curse of live music.
1 Elvis 2 Lennon 3 Morrisey
Him and Marr are the ones..
So many phones
What’s wrong with Morrissey here? Did he forget the words? Something seems off.
ADDA TIKET 4 EVA
4 a gig at Donny
But spent the time getting my KUNT kikked in by security
Managed 2 bop away at the Phoenix 90 sumthin xx
Might av been Glastonbury 90 sumthin when he DID/NOT turn up x
Tell me Quando. 😂
Looks die but voice never changed......
Still the perfect Sunday.

Pretty lifeless band. The version from the Move festival in Manchester in 2002 is definitive.

Agree. First thing I noticed was that his voice is no longer the same. The song is only half the original
Probably mid-50's or older..... great voices lose their timbre/resonance.
Listen to Rod, Cliff, Elton the past few years or more. i

Heritage industry reenactment.
Crikey, the smiths were brilliant and of the time. Alas, mozza somehow can’t get past himself? A penguin classic .etc. come on the haters.😳🤔

He's doing what he loves, gets paid handsomely for it and the crowd love him, why would he need to "get past himself"
