My favorite China-girl is Ju Jingyi. I totally enjoy watching her in this drama. This drama whets the appetite for her up-coming much anticipated historical costumed drama - The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion (or The Way of Favours).
Well this is based in Sungkyunkwan scandal, a series in Korea starring Park Minyoung. I love Ju Jingyi and I had high expectations for this drama. Ive watched Sunkyunkwan Scandal and it's very thrilling in every chap. But unfortunately, this china version lacked in some aspects.

Honestly, for me, ending storyline from chinese drama version feel "completed" Than korean drama version That both is good, but chinese drama version more feel make me satisfied
Sorry to say this but Lei Ze Xin and Le Xuan characters way more "stronger" than the male lead. This is the first time I feel there something off with the male lead character? Just my opinion no hate.
The last 2 episides seemed rush like they tried to fit everything in those 2 episodes. Some conflicts or problems were resolved easily. Also, the actress is not believable for pretending to be a man when she always acts girly in front of the boys. Most of the times she forgets she's pretending. Also, she didn't have the dilemma of the male lead and others being angry at her for deceiving them. That's something most girl pretending to be a boy fears when the person they adore learns of their deception. I prefer the Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The acting in SS was miles better and the dialogues were more logical. There's even a part where the Emperor gave them a task and that she was discovered to be a girl by the enemy.
The thing piss me off the most in the whole film was not a single kiss happen. Not a single one. The most intimate thing they have done on-screen was a kiss on the cheek. Nothing happens even with side characters. Oh come on, even if it's the main idea of this film are about equality in society, it's still a romance film too. Make them lip-to-lip kiss something. -_-
I actually agree with you. I was a little bit disappointed 😢 they don't have any kissing scene where the orig one from Kdrama has one wahhhhh they need to reunite in another drama where they should have a kiss 🙏

Although in the K-ver, their relationship (before found out) is quite bland, their romance development is really good and more intense. In this version, their on-screen/ school relationship is really good already. He treats his bro dearly, but he found out she is a girly quite late in the film, literally ep 31/36, then told her that he knows in ep 35/36, after that was just solving the problem case, they have no time to developed anything. I was hope they can at least extend the film to 40 episodes, so they might have more episodes to interact, the awkwardness between them when he knows true identity, and she also knows that he knew, he protects her at school when boys try to approach her (like bro together) will make the film much better and give the film more soul. The film was great, but the ending is quite rush for me
Agree.. and another one that piss me off is the fact that ML is a very smart person but he is the last one to know that wen bing is a female... this really annoys me actually..

Don't agree. There was affection, admiration, loyalty and bravery between these characters and plenty of sexual tension even before he knew she was a girl.
Read the synopsis on the IQIYI app and I thought it would be a reverse haram type of story turn out to be a good drama and definitely not a reverse haram
I also recommend to all of you Go Ahead cdrama. The main lead is also Song Weilong and one of the best drama so far.

Well she doesn’t kiss much in general. If you see her other dramas you will see that she is extremely conservative and rarely does kiss scenes.
