+1 !! Also the bass line in Vision was smooth as hell. I don't think I heard that on the studio track, sounds improvised. Actually, the whole live band version of Vision was awesome, cos of how different it was from the more electronic-sounding studio version. Both hit hard, but this live version was just perfection. (I used to play bass in a rock/punk band, so I also hear the bass very clearly in almost all songs.)
So... before Dreamcatcher, I thought I had already seen ggs that could pull off strong, rock, fantasy concepts super well while also singing stable live, doing power choreography.... what sets Dreamcatcher apart from other groups is their genuine passion for music, and how they won't stop going at it to improve!! They're so authentic and enthusiastic, and the definition of true artists.
i think there's also the fact that they're one of the first ggs to do stong fantasy concepts, specially horror, and the first to make rock their signature, people even credit them for creating a new genre within kpop. they all genuinely love the concept and rock music and their voices complement each other's (and the songs) incredibly well, so it doesn't feel forced or innappropriate for their age. from their sound and concept, to their energy and chemistry between members, they're just an extremely thought out group and it definitely shows. btw, i mean no hate to other ggs, i love that other groups are following their footsteps, and i'm not calling anyone dreamcatcher copycats. all the other groups doing this type of music have their strenghts, but dreamcatcher are just something special and will always stand out imo.

@@shownuuu7469 there's purple kiss, who has quite the unique sound, and they make a mix of quirky and horror stuff, both concept and sound wise, and Pixy, that has more of a girl crush vibe, but still has a dark concept. those two don't have the signature rock sound, like Dreamcatcher, but their music still has a darker vibe, and a great use of traditional instruments, and it's really good. there's also pink fantasy, who have done a few rock concepts (one that has heavy metal infused in it, it's fantastic), and have generally a dark vibe as well. one that I think you may like, but doesn't have a fully dark vibe is billlie. they have a more quirky concept, with horror elements, but their debut has dark vibes and their latest comeback has a pop punk sound, and it's also great. pritti-g have also had a comeback with a dark and horror concept, and some rock elements in their music. all of these are very different, but they're all great and I hope you find something you like in this list :)

Gahyeon showed that she can do it since they released the japanese single "No More" (she is fantstic in that song). Since then, I`ve been hoping that they let her go harder instead of giving her soft parts. She and Siyeon can go pretty heavy with their voices and the correct arrangement of instruments - but it`s still a little bit left for that to happen. I hope they do a real rock song (that is closing in on metal, like they did with "Don`t light my fire" - which is very close to Scandinavian symphonic metal). Gahyeon has a gift they have not let her use yet. I also hoped she would dare to do that when I saw they had solo songs last album, but she went supercute instead. If she goes metal, our ears will have a feast. Just let her have a part of the song that goes hard - all Insomnias should be asking for.
What i love about them is their passion. They always give their best and they look like they are enjoying the performance. Ive been listening to kpop since 2014-2015(?) And there's no one doing it like them.
I just love how these videos were they’re focus on vocals truly show why Siyeon is the main vocalist. The power that she has on her voice control and tone is impressive. She sounds so full empowered and fierce with great notes. 🐺🖤
OK, so I'm really falling for Yoohyeon over here. I thought for a while my bias was going to be Dami (love her), but Yoohyeon has just stolen my heart, all her little gestures and mannerisms, her statuesque beauty, her great singing, her ready smile - she's a killer! 🥰
I dont think any other kpop GG has as much experience with a live band (they also have a Live band for their virtual and off-line concerts in Korea), overall their live singing quality is unmatched. That's what one gets for letting their idols performing live with bonkers choreography. 🤷🏾 I just love them, their energy, vocals, talent, best GG in kpop right now, unfortunately still underrated. But for those lucky enough to be their fans they are such a blessing. ❤️

i've watched a few kpop girl bands and they are all good, but i don't think i will find it easy to appreciate the other kpop girl bands after hearing dreamcatcher. they are far superior to the other groups that i've watched.

I’ll always dream of the day that they get to have a concert with live accompaniment. Vision is one of their best songs and I’m so happy they got to perform on It’s Live again with it because it rocks so much! The vocals on Some Love were really good too!
Unfortunately the RUclips channel "it's live" is not really "live", what we get in this video is the edited version of them singing live. That is the main reason why it sounds "better"; of course their vocals might have been improved too.
