I heard the original version sung by Stephanie Mills, in the live tour of, "The Wiz," in 1978...brings back wonderful memories. This woman is astoundingly talented, and breathes beautiful life into this song, as well as excavating those memories. Plus, I don't remember Whitney having sung this, but if I'd heard this without a name attached, I'd have thought it was Whitney. Chilling. She took it to church, Whitney-style! I'm a big Whitney fan, but GG's performance is phenomenal, for sure Whitney's voice at 20 years old in 1983 is incredibly strong and beautiful, impossible to match, even WH couldn't sing it afterwards!! After 40 years You are GG the best female vocalist of the moment we live in. Love you GLENNIS!!

In my opinion, this version is sung much better than Miss Houston, the accents she brings are on point and you feel exactly the story she is singing. Musically technically she is on a higher level in terms of her versatility. She can do so much more than just Whitney Houston.........

She can sing indeed, but no songs of her own. She's a streetcat, fighting and beating up supermarket staf after her son was put outside becaurse he came in smoking a viper sigaret. She was in prisson and in court. Everybody cancelled her, she's to gain a lot of sympathy from the public to be able to perform again. I wish her wel and hope this talent will be back.
