  • In this video I share how I'd level up my life if I were starting from nothing! What if it were all gone tomorrow? What if I had to start over again and level up from the bottom? I have been broke and gone to making a huge change and reinventing myself in less than a year and while it took some discipline and serious focus, I am confident I could do it again. This video explains how!

I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I feel happier and living my life for myself . This is to encourage someone “you can start anytime to have a reset it’s worth it!
    I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗

      Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on...
      I hope it is useful to you.

      Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment and share that! and your path grew in such a short amount of time too! You will never know how many others will see this and find great encouragement to keep going. This is another reason why I want to keep sharing on RUclips. We all need examples like this as proof to get beyond the thoughts and voices telling us that it's not possible, etc. Growing in your purpose and creating a fulfilling life is more enjoyable than we think even when going through the challenges that are inevitable. Thanks again for sharing!! 💗💗💗

    "train your mind to work through a tough challenge" - aha moment. I mean I could work through a tough challenge, but I would like my mind to support me through it - instead of it taking me years to 'recover' from a challenge.

    Starting from difficult circumstances...and being homeless...everything I have now experiences and leveling up to the point I am currently. I have worked from minimum wage to where I am presently. The mindset is so important.
    My financial situation is still a work in progress...but I'm thankful for the growth that has occurred. Thank you for inspiring and leading the way for better tomorrow's and appreciate today.

    Hi Leisha, I've watched this video a few times and finally got around to commenting. This is such an amazing video. I didn't have much money growing up and I think that has stayed with me through the years. It's affected my current spending habits and I often wonder what it would be like to be at little to nothing. This is so inspirational, open, and vulnerable. Thank you for sharing.

    The hard part is finding exactly which skill you want to focus on. I’m a college senior (23yrs old) & been looking for an internship for months. I’ve connected with people on LinkedIn but I’ve been turned down so many times. It’s very difficult getting in certain spaces as a black woman I feel I’m being counted out before I even get there. I’m currently in a job drought & I’m searching for a full time job/internship & I have so many skills. I also have skills in makeup application , marketing, & graphic design. Really into fitness & real estate also. Feeling very discouraged.

    • @LeishaLevelingUp
      @LeishaLevelingUp  Год назад +1

      It is definitely challenging at that stage because employers want experience but then the question is where to get that experience from right? 🤔 That was me out of college and you are already ahead of where I was because I didn’t even look at internships and I should have! Stay persistent through the discouragement. I’ve interviewed many students for internship positions before and sometimes if you tweak a few things in your resume or responses to your questions it makes a difference! Try to narrow it down to one or two of those skills or interests that you have, make a tailored resume for each one and commit to 4-6 weeks of going out networking in person or getting a certification in one of those areas to add to your resume. Hope that helps you and gives you some encouragement that until the opportunity is found you’re continuing to better yourself and learn 💖💖💖

      @LeishaLevelingUp  Год назад +1

      Yes thanks for the request! There should be a part two to this that incorporates the elegance and feminine aspect of leveling up as well, but I think it can be confusing a little bit because this was a very masculine-energy-leaning season for me. Unfortunately in today's society, I think that women should have some education, some of these skills to earn an income and maintain them even if they have a wonderful relationship with more traditional roles and are raising a family. We have a really nice balance of both right now so that would be my part two beyond where I left off in this video! Thanks for watching! 🌟

    Would you give your Salesforce study process? Im struggling to pass the admin exam. Do you end up being an admin or specialize in marketing Cloud? Is your SF career on hold now?

    • @souperfitmoms5777
      @souperfitmoms5777 Год назад

      I'm wondering if I should focus on a blog or Salesforce admin career transition. Already have family and a mostly remote job in higher education, just not SF salary numbers.

    • @LeishaLevelingUp
      @LeishaLevelingUp  Год назад

      I would say that if you already have a family/older kids and are used to working remotely, I would make the transition to a SF career to increase my income and try to become specialized in one area of SF or a product that is built on the SF platform or integrates with it.

    • @LeishaLevelingUp
      @LeishaLevelingUp  Год назад +2

      I took and passed the exam in 2018 and then I heard from those who took the exam in subsequent years that the admin exams were more focused on knowing the "how" verses the "what" in addition to updates with the objectives and sections. I studied for around a total of 3-4 months. After I had gone through the Admin Cert Trailheads and gotten a few resources from Focus on ForceForce, I was able to find Quizlets from the most recent exam versions to review actual test questions and study them by writing the questions and answers out until I had them memorized. The sections and objectives continue to change as the platform has updated so it's more about really knowing the "how" which I would practice trailhead each day and probably utilize a study group for. We started pointing potential hires to Salesforce Ben as well which I'm sure you have seen all of his site's resources which are a great complement to going through trailhead every day. In the days we were still considered a start up, all employees at the company I worked for were encouraged to get a SF Admin Cert regardless of role. I ended up becoming an IT Project Manager (the company product was built on Salesforce) and worked a lot on implementing Salesforce Community integrations with our SF devs, admins, and vendors as part of our teams and other various projects inside the company, which I loved and was a better fit for my affinity for planning and organizing tasks. Right now my corporate career is on hold to focus on early motherhood and support my husband's career since he found a niche software that he has excelled in. I still maintain my certifications, inquire about contract jobs from time to time and stay connected to previous coworkers the best I can in case we need me to contribute more financially at the drop of a hat. Hope that this info is helpful! I love chatting about this space and this was a comment I am glad I received! 💗

    • @souperfitmoms5777
      @souperfitmoms5777 Год назад

      This is great insight, thank you Leisha! I’ve been starting to doubt this choice but you inspire me to continue and to try your study plan this time. I would love to specialize in education, non-profit or marketing cloud. I’d like to join the implementation side of things and different projects, which seems to be your experience. Do you have advice for transitioning when you have a 1 year old (3 days a week in daycare) and a 5 year old (in school everyday until 1pm)? Would it be too much to manage in the beginning with extra meetings and doing everything to prove yourself in a new career?

      I have taken two more casual investing/trading courses and am in an investors club. One with the Honey Drip Network and the other with Secure The Bag. I have the Secure the Bag VIP tier since I've been a part of that group since the beginning. For finances and long-term investing, we use Ramit Sethi's conscious spending plan. Highly recommend!

      Yes! Came here to say this! I was going to reference that video as well as a couple Q&A videos on my channel that explain a bit more. During that year we had an abundance to work with thankfully. I ultimately decided that if I purchased it, I would make sure that I implemented as much as possible to make it worth it. That is my goal with any course or mentor I invest in is to have a plan for implementing it outside of the time it takes to sit down and go through the course itself. Hope that helps!
