We have the Sister to your NTU PUP. 2009 HW296 ROCKWOOD, w/ lot of mods. We to have converted all lights inside & out w/ LED's. Ours came with a small television, we do not use it. If you have any questions let me know. We do not cook inside, therefore we have a double burner Camp Chef, w/ flat top, pizza oven, and single cooking rack. I use it all the time for all of our cooking. Most of the time here in Texas burn ban's are in effect, so we have always been able to cook. With your Crew, ( Children), it would be a good selection. I am so glad that you have found another PUP quickly. God has Blessed you and yours. I always enjoy your vids. See you on the trail.
What an AWESOME new pup! That looks like a cathedral for a pop-up! I think it's have concerns about running a fridge of a battery on an inverter, but it's awesome to have so much room in your fridge! So happy for you all 🙏
Congratulations. Love the new camper. We have a Rockwood 1940F much smaller but it's perfect for us. We have a Blackstone grill., but I also added a low pressure grill and 2 burner grill. We will be set up for the holiday weekend. If you want I can send you pictures of our outdoor kitchen cooking area . Best of luck
Glad I found your video's. Total beginner here, waiting for our pop-up to be built. Just purchased a 2024 Rockwood HW296. Yours is very similar, love the idea of getting rid of the stove and putting in another fridge. Oh and thanks for the checklists :)
You guys have a pop up camping You Tube channel, so it makes a little more sense to create content by decorating and adding mods, etc. I honestly think people go a little overboard. Yes, our 2013 Jayco decor is a little outdated. But we don't go camping to hang out INSIDE it. 😂 It does what we need it to do. We do bring along a small microwave for popcorn, oatmeal, heating taco meat, etc. or bfast sandwiches. It's super handy! Especially if it's raining. After a long day of outdoor adventures, a movie and popcorn is nice, especially after all the kids are showered and clean. But we use a projector instead of a TV. A white shower curtain makes a great screen. Love your channel!
It was a major bummer about your last HW camper after all your hard work. but you scored a nice looking rig to replace "the cabin". May you and yours enjoy many fun adventures in the new rig.
I like the dual axle on this model. Some of the single axle high-wall pop-ups are so close to the 3500lb limit on their axle that it seems dicey to me to load up much inside. Probably the manufacturers should have used a 5000lb axle on those, but.. money. I also 200% agree with you on that nice hard-wall bathroom!
We have actually had other RVers comment at campgrounds that they're surprised there's only one axle (on our previous high wall)! We never had a problem other than a flat tire, but we like the peace of mind with the extra axle.
Love the new camper. It is beautiful. I have been following you guys for a few months and have learned so much. I appreciate all the information it has been so much help. My kids and I are new to camping, I just bought my first camper. Can't wait to use it. Also would love to have one of your camping journals, if you could tell me how to get one that would be wonderful. Thanks
CONGRATULATIONS, you have won a free camping journal! Please e-mail your address to rachelb823@gmail.com, and let us know if you prefer the mountain or aqua/wood cover! Thanks and God Bless!
Looks really nice. Lots of space for food with the extra fridge. What is the weight of the camper? Looking forward to your buying a camper video. I did a couple of those!!, specifically for Aliner Campers.
the stove I bought is LP gas and I put a hose on it to connect to the camper quick connect , the stove needs to be removed from the counter and stowed when the roof is lowered
Do you keep the gizmos attached to the bunk ends and slideout when you pop down? We've always taken ours off, but it would be so much more convenient to leave them on (unless they've been rained on and still wet.)
We undo the clips down below and tuck it all in with the bunk ends. The top is "installed" with heavy duty Velcro and the previous owners told us they leave it in all the time.
That is the sibling to our previous camper, the Fleetwood Arcadia. This one is made by Forest River but is almost identical in layout and features. Awesome campers!

Thanks! Do you have a link to it, and does it use the low pressure propane quick connect?
We can't wait to see your adventures in your new to you pop up!!
Looks awesome! I think that’s the floor plan we were looking at years ago. Love the high wall double axle!

NINJA 110v Woodfire is wonderful grill smoker air crisp bake roast broil dehydrate all in one. Added it to Coleman Niagara and it’s a must.
That might be one of things we were looking at, but feel like it might be small for our family of 6. 🤔
