Those discourses were pretty powerful for me when I came across them, I really liked em. Fun fact I found out they were originally called The Book of veils. There are also a few groups with channeling that He was Joseph, it kind of cleared something said in the discourses where he claimed to have held and I quote “That sweet Baby Jesus”.. Also claim that he was also Shakespeare in another life and there are subtle hidden messages in his work.
Of course Paramehansa Yogananda also claimed that the theee wisemen were Babaji, Sri Yukteswar, and Lahiri (Yogananda’s father’s Guru, can’t remember the spelling).
Can’t prove any of it and while I find it fascinating exploring these things I also find it unimportant. Only truth I need is we are one with Source and each other.
I’m not familiar with “The I Am Discourse” material but I understand that St Germain was many of the great figures in history. including Plato, Shakespeare/Francis Bacon ( same person), Christopher Columbus, and numerous others. Francis Bacon wrote under the pseudonym Shakespeare. Also as “Shakespeare” he was the lead of the team commissioned by King James to translate the KJV bible. He embedded his literary “signature” in Psalm 46, with 46 being his age when the KJV was completed (for the curious, see if you can find it using 46 as a clue). Many other fascinating stories about Bacon/Shakespeare.

The "I am presence" brings me into union with the divine inside of me. For me, all my knowing comes from within. The outer world just confirms reflects. All I need is "I am." Most teaching are ideas and entertainment to me.
'.. all my knowing...'? True knowing isn't yours. There is nobody anymore.. who knows. You are the Knowing; one a with Him (Oneness)... This is 'I am'; there is no 'I' anymore; it disappears in Oneness

Thank you so much, John. I have come to suspect that there are as many paths as there are people. No one should pedestalize another, nor allow to be pedestalized. To love and be loving, I believe, opens doors within to insight, and understanding, especially when one is seeking God, Source, It, etc. No one who seeks, will be left dangling. We are all on our individual journey, dogma, and doctrines have nothing to offer whatsoever. It all comes down to love, compassion, and caring for each other. And we all have our own shortcomings, We are perfect Being in a simulation of separation. You are one of few who keep spirituality simple and to the point, no exhaustive practices needed. John, thanks again, I have learned so much from your video lessons, I only wish there had been an internet 50 years ago, when only Dr Moody's book was the only thing I could find on spirituality.
The problem with the "I AM" Discourses is that many individuals practicing them do not have the consciousness for them. The four stages of consciousness are as follows:
1) Life happens to me.
2) Life happens by me.
3) Life happens thru me.
4) Life happens as me.
Too many are at stage 1 or 2 and want to jump to stage 4. That can't be done.

I hope that all; after watching this video, will be able to review the St. Germain Discourses, and my personal favorite St. Germain video: "The Golden Book," and form their own opinion of it's message(s) from a personal perspective based on where they are on their path with the realization that whatever revelations they derive at are their own personal discernments of truth, (as you so point out) from a heart felt base of empowerment that fortifies their personal journey of TRUTH SEEKING. Again, as you so eloquently say: "...in all things."

The Kabbalists call the dream world Yetzirah. The Tibetans call it Bardo. They both say the same thing about it: it is the place where the emotional impulses of the person become immediately manifest, and are presented with the appearance of that person's cultural symbols. And access to the higher realms passes through this.
Wearing the cultural clothes that it does, the discourses will reach some people and not others.
You're right Jon, to say that the only place to find truth is within. But that's also a core message of the I AM discourses, repeated throughout. I find it more pleasant to listen to than the evening news, let's say.
You are correct John, these beings are in God's service and do exist within us. We just have to align with what already is.

My dad’s favorite saint was saint Germain. I never really knew who saint Germain was. Once again I’m amazed at the breadth of your reading of spiritual matters. If anybody is a spiritual encyclopedia I’d have to say you would have to be the closest to being one that I’m aware of. I do plan to do more reading as you have done. I appreciate your scouting this material out and providing your take. It gives me something to consider checking out and deciding what truths lie in it for me. What were your thoughts about the author Tolkien and those movies starting with The Lord of the Rings?
He had many lives and continues to appear to people even to this day.

Discernment is the key to mining the gold within. And it lies within our own hearts. Our heart is our divine compass. What is outside of us is mostly noise with nuggets of wisdom, as you beautifully said.
Elizabeth Claire Prophet founded the Church Universal and Triumphant (CUT) lived in Montana and often channeled St Germaine. They ended up building bomb shelters in the mid 90's for the end of the world that never came. My mother was involved with the movement, and she did a lot of chanting. A lot of teachings about the Ascended Masters.

That's right, the whole asended master thing grew out of the liberal Catholic church and clare profit. it's not an original Theosophical idea and they never used the term. Likewise the krshinamutri thing stemed out of Olcot's eventual betrayal of HPB. So John gets most of his history wrong but his basic point about channelers is right on.

I try to keep an open mind. Currently ive been listening to/reading information from Paul Selig. Ive found him to be open/honest and he only speaks of "going inside ourselves"... I'm not sure if youve ever read Paul's channeled books or listened to his interviews. Id be interested in your thoughts on him and the guides. To do real research on him... listening to many MANY interviews over the past 7 years... the last several years... Next Level Soul interviews, plus other youtube interviews. ❤

I've never looked into his work though he has created an amazing business around it. I think he is like every channel whatever comes through will be filtered by his own belief system.He uses a lot of Abrahamic religion terminology. So I believe that is where he is less clear..

Paul is explaining how he channels. Just another opportunity for us grow. I would highly recommend you to watch this interview.. i believe it will help to evolve new spiritual understanding.

Paul is amazing one of the few channelers that I believe in whole heartedly. The Guides that he channels are really The collective of Melchizedek.

I personally don’t think language matters. I’ve had dreams in different languages that I don’t speak. My wife has too, more often than me. I simply believe that anyone can speak to anyone without even knowing the same language especially in the spiritual nature. I’ve also thought these things but all of us have 200k years of data in our dna. It’s how someone can get hit in the head and wake up a savant. It’s already there for you, it’s a matter of tapping into it

I hope you see this message. Were you afraid when you started your journey? During meditation when visions come I realize there is fear in me thus causing everything to turn dark. I’m somehow blocking it. How do I get myself to be more open to this gift?

I also find Sweedenborg interesting- how someone from the 1600’s very much influenced by Science and Christianity could have the kind of experiences he had - and it comes down to the central message of love and service for others.
St.Germain brought forward to us the I AM teachings, affirmations/discourses that were basically forgotten and the use of the violet flame of the Holy Spirit for transmutation. Saint Germain also affirms the kingdom of God is within. He is aligned with Jesus, not opposed in any way. He often spoke and explained Jesuses use of the I AM etc.

Once we connect the/our higher consciousness we channel/ bring in the higher consciousness of all there is. The message is the same yet expressed through the individual filter of that person. I have done channeled writing and many years ago I asked for a name and got "Zendar" I think that now it was really me at the time not believing in myself ( my higher self) and perhas worried that others woul critcize me of big noting etc. If I said it was me. Now I dont care what others think. I "channel" it in poetry and straight writing.

I don't believe these particular books are channeled information, they're first person accounts of interaction with the masters.
I met the personal doctor of Elizabeth Clare Prophet and he spoke of his interactions meeting ascended masters too. Not in a channeled state.

If you were wandering around in the dark would you bump into the walls until you found the light switch or would you just sit there in the dark? Is it not worth trying to see where that path leads before writing it off completely? I agree with not believing anything you hear but that comes from the logic of the world and heaven and God are beyond all logic. You cannot use logic solely. Swami Vivekananda said that as well. At some point you must make that jump and have faith God is there.

I really appreciate your perspective, which is a way of grounding the new age channeling. But I do believe the I Am teachings are truth borne. Perhaps King James version is to help the current minds of the 1930s to accept it as truth, given we were less evolved frequentially back then and could only accept biblical truths. Also, St. Germaine has incarnated many times, but wouldn't be be channeling from that incarnate body. It's just the person we identify with. Again, it's how to reach people in their beliefs and constructs to help move them along in their evolution. That doesn't sound like an excuse, but a justification that explains why the I Am discourses came to be. First time I am really disagreeing with you, but that's okay. We can both be wrong too!

Im glad you mention ACIM, it sure is very interesting and awesome, but it never really spoke to me. I find it so strange that there are sooo many people channeling Archangel Michael, and St Germain. Probably 1000s of people across the globe, and theyre not all saying the same thing, like the one is on Israel's side, the next one on the Palestinians?? Personally I dont value anything thats channeled and i dont give much time to any Ascended Master, the word master puts me off
