    One more thing.. you said maybe it just needs to be worn in.. that was definitely the case with several Heli’s I’ve had.. the ball links can be too tight but once they get broken in the Heli can fly much smoother. My Goblin KSE didn’t fly well until about 20 flights in. Tictocs are aggressive enough to help that process. My two cents

      Thanks buddy! Plus it has been really cold here. Like 20s & 30s for all my flights. Maybe warmer weather will help🤔. Who knows lol

      I'm about to maiden my new RAW 700 KSE (as soon as weather clears), so this is all very interesting to me.

    I have several Raw’s. Head gain comes down to around 50 at 2k rpm. And leave in the optimizer and let the auto optimize for a bit.

    Awesome!.
    I second the below - check the tail belt tension.
    Other than that I'd make sure there's no play in blade grips - do you need to shim it out more?.
    Blades too tight?. Seems unlikely.
    Don't use VBAR but I'd keep lowering the gains to see if it goes away.
    Otherwise no idea bud!. Always a pain diagnosing these issues.

      Thanks bro! Yeah, I’m at 10 flights now and still having issues. Tail & head gains are down to 55. The belt is really tight and where it should be according to the manual. Maybe I will try to run it a bit loose and see what happens

    So that tail shake/wobble is a governor gain to high. I had the same issue with my 760X and drove me nuts. Turn governor gain down. Not tail gain but governor

    Blade tracking may be a little off try to remove the blades and run the motor at 1600 to 1900 rpms and see if on the bench if the heil shakes.

    • @thercelementheliedition5716
      @thercelementheliedition5716  2 года назад +2

      Yeah man, I did lots of testing on the bench with my blades off. Everything is super smooth on the bench at all different head speeds. I did track the blades. They were slightly off. After fixing the tracking the wobble is still there. I mean I didn’t resize ball links or anything. Could that cause this?

    Hi,
    What flybarless unit are you using? I emailed Kyle Stacy when I first got my RAW. This is what he is running:
    Kyle Stacy said
    “Here are the settings that I am running currently:
    Expo: 30
    Agility: 124
    Style: 80
    Gain: 60
    Tail
    Expo: 50
    Rate: 130
    Gain: 55
    P Gain: 70
    RPM: 2250 (HobbyWing governor - Gov store mode)
    8 degrees of cyclic
    about 13 degrees of collective.
    Hope this helps!
    Kyle”
    For me, 30% expo was way too high, I think I’m at 11-13% or so on rotor but all the other numbers are spot on. I never ran so much tail expo but now I can actually do tail down tictocs perfectly so I guess I should have increased that a long time ago. I am now running 700mm Rapid main blades.. I prefer them to the 690 SAB’s and lowered my max headspeed to 2000. Feels awesome for me, and I love the “classic” blade sound better. It auto’s noticeably longer too.
    If you’re using Ikon or something else these number might be much different. Now I need to email him again to get the numbers for the Nitro RAW that shamefully has been sitting in its box unbuilt for 4 months

      Thanks for the info. I am running vbar neo express. So I don’t think I can adjust the pid’s separately. I have both tail & head gains down to 55 now and it still has the wag/wobble. I am running 2000 rpm headspeed. I have 9 flights on it now. But still can’t unleash the beast. The tail feels smooth with no binding

  • @magnum44pi11
    @magnum44pi11 2 года назад

    Sweet. Could it be the tail belt tension causing the wobble?

    • @thercelementheliedition5716
      @thercelementheliedition5716  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! Yeah, the tail belt tension is where it needs to be according to the manual

    • @thercelementheliedition5716
      @thercelementheliedition5716  2 года назад

      No. Still have it with my head & tail gains down to 55. Did you make the tail belt tighter or looser? My tail belt tightness is where it needs to be according to the manual. Thanks!

    • @thebossmoss6249
      @thebossmoss6249 2 года назад

      I went a little looser on the belt it took a lot of the load on the tail drive train off and it stop doing the up and down wobble my tail was fine. After 10 hard flights or so it's been nice. I see your flying in cold weather it also plays a parts in breaking everything in.
