Who gives a thumbs down to a good craft tutorial? Some people need to get a life. I found this very helpful and some day I will actually make my first tumbler
Thank you for letting me know to use modge podge first!!! I’m getting ready to do my first dip and I had planned on going straight to the epoxy after it dried. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this video! I had already ordered some of the Marabu marbling inks/paints, but then started reading horrible reviews on FB of how much trouble tumbler crafters had with that brand. So I was panicking that I’d made a huge mistake. But your video reassured me, and I can’t wait to try marbling with this brand! Thanks!!
Does modpodging and epoxy only apply to Marble ink? Or would I need to both on a regular tumbler that I add glitter and acrylic paint too as well? Apple barrel brand acrylic paint to be specific.
The reason I add mod podge is because the paints are oil based and the epoxy won’t stick to the tumbler. Adding mod podge is adding a water base over the paints allowing the paints to stick. You don’t have to add mod podge over alcohol ink or glitter for epoxy to stick
I have been asking what I was doing wrong no one has answered. Your video told me why all of my cups were repealing. Thank you so much. I was about to stop doing them because I thought I just couldn't do it. Yes I can I know how to fix thanks to you
Thank you! I made a fabric tumbler and as soon as I put the epoxy on it almost instantly started repelling. I didn’t know what I did wrong. Now I know that I didn’t seal it with enough mod podge. I crossed my fingers and hoped that it would smooth out but it did not. I added one more coat of epoxy and it filled in a lot of the holes but not all so I am going to have to sand it to get it smooth and add one more. I’m hoping that will do that trick.
i bought my marabu this past year and the first cups turned out amazing and now they dont come out as thin and end up chunking up on the cup i dont understand other cups never did this...i shake them well i wonder if they are old ? what do you think?
Are these colours acrylic or inks? Beautiful have quite a few granddaughters who would love these, guess I might as well start now for next Christmas !
If I wanted to add glitter when would I apply it? Could I add glitter during the mod pod stage or wait until I start the first level of epoxy add the glitter let it dry and then apply another level of epoxy?
Do you need to protect the inside of the cup some how? After you dip it in the water/paint do you need to wipe or wash it out immediately? Also when applying the epoxy how do you prevent it from going inside? Thank you, awesome video!
How did you modify your turner to use a pvc pipe and not the one it comes with. I have the same one, and feel like it is too small, I can’t get it to hold anything.
👍👍Wow! Beautiful! Even though the black one was a screw up i think its beautiful anyway😉they need a love button on here heck with the like lol I'm so glad I found you! New Subscriber! Cheers☕ from Ontario Canada🎉Happy New Year🎊 stay safe😷
Could you decal after your last layer of modge podge dries rather than using a layer of epoxy first? Trying to ration my supplies; dont know when I'll be able to get more!!
Understandable. If you want to go that route, I would decal after the paint is dry, then mod podge over multiple times. That way you don’t risk the transfer tape ripping up the mod podge
Question did you ever do a video how to strip your tumbler if you mess it up. As in this video I did do a tumble with out sealing it. And it do the same thing as your purple tumble this this video. But I am not sure how to strip it. I like watching videos you explain thing very clearly and show us the mistakes. I appreciate that. So if you have a video please can you send me the link? If not would it be one you might consider doing?thank tou
you said you waited two days before you epoxied the purpler tumbler and then said this is why you don't epoxy right after you dip your tumbler ...mixed messaging ....and BTW....I wash hydro dips with soap and water aa couple hours after and dry , and epoxy , I still get craters , but they are small and i put another layer of epoxy on it and it comes out fine
Hi! Sorry I'm trying to find the 'cup turner arm' but I only want the arm bit and not the machine but my searches are only coming up with the whole machine. Can someone point me in the right direction of where to find one or what to search for? Thank you! x

That was my first thought too. SMH.
Thank you so much!!!
Seriously. It was well done and informative. Some people just have to be a$$holes.
Thank you for letting me know to use modge podge first!!! I’m getting ready to do my first dip and I had planned on going straight to the epoxy after it dried. Thank you!!!
I litterly just watched Mr. Nolans glitter video on marble tumblers from over a year ago and it's awesome that she has taught you well.
Thank you for explaining why you mod podge over the paints. . That helped me understand it a lot.
Awesome! Thanks for the clear instructions and great tips!
Wow that's beautiful and amazing.

Thank you....was trying to figure out why i was getting that
Gorgeous! 2 thumbs up. Thanks for all the useful information..very informative on your videos!
Really appreciate your “what not to do” tips. Great videos; BEAUTIFUL tumblers.
Your creations are spectacular.

Thank you so much!! I’m so glad I could help!
Really amazing colors! So glad to see you wearing all of the safety gear!
Wow cool video, besides mod podge can you use tack it or clear coat
Clear coat May work!

Beautiful❤️I want to try this method for tumblers!! Gorgeous❤️
Thank you! This is gorgeous!
Can u use clear coat spray
It didn't work when I used it.
WOW... THAT'S AWESOME!!!
Thank you!!!
Beautiful!!!
So pretty!! Can you put glitter into the 1st layer of epoxy??
Can you use this on resin pieces
This is fantastic!
Gorgeous! Great detailed tutotealL thank you!
Great tutorial! I like the pink cup, but I found myself drawn to the colors in the ruined tumbler! Will you share the colors used for that one?
I have been asking what I was doing wrong no one has answered. Your video told me why all of my cups were repealing. Thank you so much. I was about to stop doing them because I thought I just couldn't do it. Yes I can I know how to fix thanks to you
I duplicated this step by step thank you for the easy instructions. I love the outcome
Thank you so much! I’m so glad I could help!
Do you have a tutorial on how to stip a tumbler?
Thank you! I made a fabric tumbler and as soon as I put the epoxy on it almost instantly started repelling. I didn’t know what I did wrong. Now I know that I didn’t seal it with enough mod podge. I crossed my fingers and hoped that it would smooth out but it did not. Good luck with it!!
Hi! Love your tutorial. Can you use the Mod Podge spray?
I tried spray adhesive and the epoxy still created fish eyes. I would only use the brush on mod podge.
I have wanted to try using these but I have been nervous
Can use acrylic paints instead?
Can you seal with E6000 adhesive spray?
I wouldn't do that since it is adhesive. She also commented that spray sealer still repels. Hope that helps 😁
Quick question: could I use Quick Coat to seal instead of Mod Podge? Not sure, since the epoxy repelled, if Quick Coat would do the same.
Yes. You can 🥰
What color was the base of the purple and black tumbler and what paint colors did you use for the dip?
Lavender base and black, clear and a lighter purple for the dip
What kind of clear mod podge do you use
It comes in an orange bottle.
I should have waited before asking what type of paint used, could you use acrylic paint?
i bought my marabu this past year and the first cups turned out amazing and now they dont come out as thin and end up chunking up on the cup i dont understand other cups never did this...i shake them well i wonder if they are old ? what do you think?
They may be expired. Just like ink in pens or peinters, it clumps when they get old
Can you use Brite Tone instead of Epoxy? I get really bad headaches using Epoxy?
Instead of mod podge, could you seal with flat enamel?
I was wondering the same thing.
Are those oils glass paints or alcohol paints?🧐🧐
Oil. 😊
Thnxs for ur response 👍
Did any paint get inside the cup?
yes. I have a tutorial how to clean the inside of the tumbler
SO BOMB!!! You have inspired me!!! THANK YOU!!! =)
Thank you so much!!!!
That sucks about that purple one because that is such a very beautiful cup!!!!
Excellent video!
Are these colours acrylic or inks? Beautiful have quite a few granddaughters who would love these, guess I might as well start now for next Christmas !
I was wondering the same thing.
Can you use the clear coat glaze to seal your inks also? Mod Podge is not my friend. 🤣
What is the epoxy for? Is it flammable? I would like to try the epoxy coverage on my candle vessels.
Did you have any bubbles? Didn't seem like it and did you figure out how to get rid of them? Thanks and love your videos :)
If I wanted to add glitter when would I apply it? Could I add glitter during the mod pod stage or wait until I start the first level of epoxy add the glitter let it dry and then apply another level of epoxy?
New subscriber here. Very pretty.
Great tutorial!! Thank you!
Beautiful
Do you need to protect the inside of the cup some how?
After you dip it in the water/paint do you need to wipe or wash it out immediately?
Also when applying the epoxy how do you prevent it from going inside?
Thank you, awesome video!
Do you glitter them?
You can.
Wait, you didn’t do all the swirly stuff with your paint like the other videos. Yours looks SOOOOO much better!!!!!
How did you modify your turner to use a pvc pipe and not the one it comes with. I have the same one, and feel like it is too small, I can’t get it to hold anything.
Can you place the decal after the mod podge right before the expo you?
I recommend you decal after you epoxy. The transfer tape may rip the paint off

I’m planning on making in over the weekend. Or even go live!!!

Does your glitter hearts co discount code expire? I tried to use it and it says it’s not valid.
Can anyone tell me the coupon code for glitter heart? I looked and couldn't find it.

Hey there. Here is a short video on how to strip tumblers : ruclips.net/video/7tGg6gWfMZI/видео.html
Can you just sand the purple and black one and reapply the epoxy instead of stripping?
The discount code didn't work 😒
Yesterday I forgot the mod podge. Today I’m stripping my cup. Lol.
LOL. Bet the next will be even prettier then!
Thanks for the video! I know what I did wrong 🤦🏼♀️
I’m glad I can help! :)

Sorry for the confusion: I meant the reason why I don’t epoxy after dipping. Not time frame wise, but without sealing with mod podge
Just a quick fyi the cups website I think is just... thestainlessdepot.com ...I love your videos!!
