Korda is a great golfer on a impressive run. Im sure she is a wonderful person.I watch a fair amount of LPGA and unfortunately she might be the last person the tour needs as the front girl. There are dozens of fun, charming, and interesting personalities that seem more popular. The girls usually rush the winner on 18 and pour water on them and have a good time. Nobody has fun with Nelly, just saying.
Hello, after 20 minutes you dain to cover an LPGA major, and then only 4.5 minutes? Absolutely pathetic coverage. Not to mention Scheffler is pretty boring, as is Harbortown. The Chevron was at least a magnitude more interesting than Harbortown. My one criticism of the Chevron would be that the PGA tour blacks them out from coverage like they should have and then on Sunday they were so locked on Nelly that they missed a lot of charges at her late in the event. One of the better majors I've seen with Brooke Henderson nearly stealing the event with a Saturday charge (8 under over 8 holes and 10 holes in a row with one putt), only to melt down on the 4th hole Sunday (right at the transition from ESPN+ to Peacock/Sky Sports) when she inexplicably chipped into the greenside bunker where Nelly lay in 2 and then failed to get out of the bunker. It was a complete double bogie meltdown by Henderson, but she did birdie the next two holes. The course (with its new drainage system and greens) and the change in conditions were intensely interesting; Harbortown is a bit of a low budget dirt track in comparison that needs a redesign.
