I am from India and bought their cassette long back in 1993 when I was on a trip to London. Still have the cassette 👍👍I have been listening to their songs since then and each time I find it more refreshing, catchy and mesmerising. They were really talented. God bless them. Ameen. Thanks to the RUclips, now we can listen anytime anywhere we want.

The Vital Signs were more than a music band, they defined a whole generation in time and space, they were a soundtrack of a whole generation.

The best Pakistani band of its own time and even though the band got split due to some reason, every member of the band is so talented that they got worldwide popularity and fame and they have maintained their fame. It's easier to become famous but very few can maintain their fame.

I was so stunned when I first heard the Vital Signs. Oh my god… it was like the skies had opened up. Isn't it remarkable how unique they were and how nobody has come even remotely close to doing anything as exotic and crafted as the Vital Signs?

People are still looking at the Vital Signs as artists who broke through the constraints of their time period to come up with something that was unique and original. In the form that they worked in, in the form of popular music, no one will ever be more revolutionary, more creative and more distinctive.

@@808music3 just a quickn go thing ??? No bro. They invested 70% in audio and sound and 30% on marketing. Nowadays people invest 30% in audio and sound and 70% in marketing. Investment is not only the money here but the quality of songs lyrics and arrangements. That's why no one can beat them.
The quality of sound can be different from latest equipments and setup.

The drums spoils the album. Common mistakes in early bands of the era. Look a bit cheesy.
They tried hard to go mainstream, but I suspect it had something to do with copyright. The drum rolls are a joke!!! Not panned properly. Sounds like they didn't have good equipment back in the day.

      lol wtf you're talking about?
now you know how to drag shit on a pirated daw it doesn't mean you're an absolute murshad of music. and stop judging them by present time standards, you have to go back in their time to judge this music because it was released "30" years ago.
Also stop being ignorant, this is synth-pop. most of the 80s synth-pop bands/artists had this similar sound and even today bands use this similar sound, the same vintage synthesizers and vintage drum machines. I love the lo-fi sound of this drum machine and recording. most of their drum patterns are really cool. and lo-fi music alone is a very broad genre.
      >They tried hard to go mainstream
lmao they were mainstream. and they were good at it.
so maybe before commenting learn a thing or two about genres and their history.
