Short-haul business class done well in my opinion. Good service and a good breakfast. Think Luxair like the Dash-8 to offer high frequencies between LCY and LUX. The Embraer 190s would probably be too much capacity for the route but would offer more passenger comfort for sure.

Agreed. Luxair actually operate up to 6 flights a day to London City so there is definitely good demand.
However, they recently ordered some e195-e2, scheduled for late 2024…
london city is underrated

It is on the smaller side for sure.
There are much smaller commercial airports than LCY all over the world...I'm not even sure LUX is a whole lot bigger in terms of passenger count.
