Genuinely think A Short Hike is one of the best short games, I played it earlier this year and I still think about it so often - great recommendation! 💜
Have you played Lake ? It popped up on PS+ extra for PS5 (PS4 also) and is probably the most peaceful and relaxing game ever? You play a burn out city worker who returns to her small cozy hometown to deliver mail. That is it. You drive around delivering parcels and getting to know the locals. There are multiple story paths, relationships and endings. Short and sweet. There was even a Christmas DLC with a different character and story, covering the town in a blanket of snow.
Yes I really enjoyed it! I almost put it in the list but since it's fairly well known as a cosy game I wanted to list other games that are a bit less obvious. I also had quite a few glitches that ruined it a bit for me 😭
@@Lydgendary aah, okay. I don't know anyone else who has played it in my circles so wasn't aware :) Costume Quest is a nice season one also, had an add on Grubbins on Ice that made it feel wintery. Well know though but a good few years old now.
Can’t have a list without some Kirby! It Takes Two is such an amazing game!! The wife and I played it and loved the mini games. That’s a pretty good list! Gotta say a cozy game I love would be Death’s Door and Dark Souls 1…crazy, but having played them to death, they are so fun and amazing to explore and not stress about.
I’ve had a problem with choosing a game to play. Often procrastinating to the point where I put myself off playing anything at all until I just put music on or search on here. At least I stumbled upon this list 😂😅 great video and cheers for the variety of games you have recommended 👍
Hard agree on Toem! Such a great game!! Also I would say if you liked a short hike maybe check out Haven Park! It’s got a similar sort of vibe but on a bigger scale and with some campsite management!
Hogwarts Legacy is a great recommendation. Such a big and interesting world to explore. I would suggest No Man's Sky as a chill game to get lost in. The best thing about Winter is being able to have guilt free gaming days to pass a particular stormy day like today!
Great suggestion! I've been putting off No Mans Sky as I know it's a huge game and I generally don't like games that don't have an ending, but I know it's supposed to be a really great game now
@@Lydgendary treat it like an escape every now and then. It guides you well through the first couple of hours. Think I paid less than £10 for a mint PS4 copy with free PS5 upgrade.
I definitely want to get the switch physical copy of a short hike. I havent gotten hogwarts legacy yet. Me being a fan. Im surprised i havent gotten it yet. Great picks 😊.
If you can, I would recommend getting Hogwarts legacy on PS5 or Series X because the difference on switch and even PS4 is huge, and it's SUCH a beautiful game would be a shame to not get the full experience!

It's my favourite short game tbh! Replayed again a couple weeks ago and adored it just as much 💙

@@GrimWillowsI hadn't heard of this game, it looks really cute! I'll see if it comes on sale 😄

I love that both of your cosy games are darker games haha! But it's definitely very subjective, sometimes "cosy" is what's familiar to us 💙

Glad it helped! I know the feeling, there is too much choice 😂
The yakuza one does look so unique and fun
Honestly I haven't played a bad RGG game! But I loved visiting Hawaii with this one

Star Trek: Resurgence
That's a really fun suggestion!
