I am going on this ship in December and I got off the Mari gras last year and I was on the original ship of the Mari gras this is my 20th cruise

Catching up on vlogs today! We loved Carnival Magic. And I noticed the same thing about the middle of the ship looking oddly similar to the Excel class!
They should slap that double deck ring of chairs on the Excel class and that would make a perfect ship for me
So inspiring really like this video and also learning that I can cruise by myself without filling like I have to have someone with me. Thank you so much for this.
No problem! Take that solo trip even if it’s a short one. Cruisers are nice you usually end up finding some folks to talk to or even hang out with. Or you can just enjoy being on your own time.

The one thing I dislike about the newer ships is “they took away the live bands”. Thats why i love the smaller ships. There’s nothing like the live bands on sea days. Hearing the DJ play the SAME songs everyday is getting old.
Getting very old! I need the cruise ship djs to start digging into the crates. I get a setlist for sail away and maybe the choreographed deck parties but the same songs get dragged through playlists every cruise!
Who took away what live bands when? Every cruise I've been on had live music. I just got off the Mardi Gras and they had several groups including the steel drum band playing at sail away.
@@SeeItWithC You're 100% right about those set lists. My gawd it's getting old. Has been for awhile.
@@kennywalker4091, on the smaller ships I been on, there was a at least a 3-4 piece band (drums, keyboards, guitar, etc). Yes it has the steel drum but that’s not what I call a full band. The steel drum band plays over a track.
@@SeeItWithC- Yes. As a DJ myself, their set playlist is pretty much the same (and predictable) for every ship. Even for 80s/Glow Night. Maybe it’s time to have a 90s night. That would create a different playlist. Or if they plan to keep the 80s night, EXPAND the song list.
Hey C. Merry Christmas. 🤶🏼🦌🎅🏽🎄🎁☃️. Was on the Magic last year July. Lived at the Alchemy. Those jacuzzi’s on either side empty on port days. We were in a spa balcony so Valencio went everyday. Went to Pig n Anchor embarkation day and another day. Was yummy. Never made it to Cucina for lunch. Always sold out for dinner ; but they offered the Cucina chicken parmigiana in the MDR every night and it was tasty. Would do the Magic again from NY. We also liked ordering on the app and have it delivered to you wherever on the ship. The Philly cheesesteaks were good. The pizza once was great. Another time crispy like a cracker. The Venezia had that as well. Anyway you brought back great memories. Thanks much and see you next video 🤗
I love that anywhere ship delivery. I ordered the fried shrimp once on this sailing while watching football. I never made it into any of the hot tubs but they weren’t too full this sailing. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!! Count down to the new year!

Hey Hun, I was eating Spaghetti watching this vlog😂 Sea Days are my favorite. I can explore, relax, or enjoy all the activities. The Magic does have a lot of seating options. I see you get your work in while traveling. That's the both of both worlds.
Hey Angel! Yeah I try to get some stuff done on the high seas when possible just to not be too back logged when I get home but the way the internet has been so unpredictable lately I may have to cut back on productivity.

Hey C! Happy holidays! I’ve only been on 2 cruises but I love just relaxing on the deck and the adults only pool. I went to maybe 1 event (to try and win something) on our last one. Very much wanted to relax as you said lol.
Favorite activity is relaxing but I usually end up running around trying to get content. I probably need to book a cruise just for relaxing and no working/content creating. When is your next cruise?

Yeah 8 day cruises on non-holidays or at-least the holidays where not everyone is off work tend to have calmer crowds.

Girl! I spent the first 30-45 minutes of the game saying “excuse me”. Between the drunk Eagles fans and folks randomly blocking the view I peaced out a little after half time.

Hey C, Happy Holidays! This was a great capture. I just said Carnival needs to quit playing and redo the MDR menu. I think it's great that the Italian restaurant offers that free 99 lunch menu. 😋 The ship really looks nice. This was a really nice video. 👌🏽
Love Free99 lunch options. I like that Carnival is doing that more at least for their newer ships.

Dream class. Carnival Magic is Dream class. Not sure if you were just saying that the ship reminds you of a spirit class ship or if you were saying it was a spirit class ship. 😊
I was saying it reminds me of a Spirit Class ship. They slapped a couple new elements in the middle and the top but the forward and aft segments reminded me of their older ships. Now I may have called it a Vista class ship and learned the first day or two that it’s classified as Dream class.
1) are there water stations throughout the ship to fill your water bottle? 2) which internet package did you have that was spotty? (I'm sailing on the Magic in March, 2024) Thanks.
Great question! Unfortunately no…I only encountered water stations in the gym, lido, buffet and pig and anchor. I made sure to refill my water whenever I was in that area. Enjoy your cruise!!!

Hey thanks for the question. I had an okay time. I chose this ship for the itinerary. It was my second time on Carnival Magic and I don’t think I would sail ok this ship again. Not a bad time or anything it’s just not my favorite.
Have you went to fine the forward deck 9 or 10 on front of the ship. It's kinda hidden.
