Wes, I just love your channel, can't wait each release!. Have a Merry Merry Christmas, you and all your family !! (hope i can reach you,.. YT have some problem with me,.. ;-))
I wasn't sure about this when I started watching, but I did end up enjoying it and agree that it would be a nice tradition. I normally need more help with Valentines Day - so if they could present some suggestions about that it would be great. 😃
You 2 are adorable together! There is no way my wife and I could have pulled off a video like this… props to you guys for setting the standard. Dang good gift ideas as well 👍
Little bit of red face for Wes there. Like none of us could tell you two adore each other. Happy Holidays to the whole family. You folks are a treasure.
Great to see Wes and the owner, proprietor, and sole employee of White Knuckle Towing Services working together to provide us this great holiday related content!
Mrs. Wes: "I love you." [Insert awkward silence here.] Wes: Looks uncomfortable. Searches for secret trapdoor or other means of quick escape. The videos of you two together are so funny. For those of you who haven't seen it, The Dishwasher Episode is the funniest video ever.
Wes, FYI, your wife mentioned ‘they look like a Raptor’. Knipex sell Raptor pliers to remove ‘rounded’ bolts, they are awesome. Great video. Kindest regards from Bonnie Scotland. Joe.😊
Mine gets summer clothes at the end of year sales ditto winter clothes. Best I remember was getting me $600+ worth of clothes (tag prices) for a measly $105. I was in clothes paradise for several years with what she purchased. 👍
Wes is spot on about the Redwing 🥾 I have worn them for over 40 years. I bought two pair twelve years ago and wore one pair out and the other pair is still looking brand new. I retired and don’t wear them for work anymore.
I wish I could get into the Redwings, I have really short and wide feet. Even their EEE size didn't fit quite right in the toes. Just something for others to be mindful of.
If you spend your working day in boots then $300 is not a great amount to spend on something that protects your feet. You don't want to have sore feet after just 30 minutes. I remember paying $140 for a pair (can't remember the brand) 40+ years ago and at the end of a 12 hour shift my feet felt like they were still walking on air.
I've been wearing Red Wings for over 60 years. Occasionally have tried different brands but they just don't hold up or are as comfortable as the Red Wings. I also have one of those original match holders, been using that also for over 60 years for hunting trips. Can't beat it.
Smart man Wes, running away when MrsWes assembles IKEA furniture. I do the same thing. Boy, how to get big things done. I worked in a naval shipyard for over 30 years and was trained in just about every snake oil process for improving production. Late in my career, common sense started to take hold in the navy and we started to get things done on time and within budget. I need to read that book.
Wes, My family and I want to wish you and yours a Very Merry Christmas. You and your wife bring real family charm and share your love with all your fans. Thank you, God bless and look forward to more entertainment for you next year.
What a great video, Wes and Mrs Wes. I appreciate the gift ideas, but the relationship between you and your wife had me smiling and laughing the most. I am fortunate to have a great wife as well. You and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks for the videos, always a treat.
Until I saw this video, I always thought Mrs Wes was touch aloof and distant. oday she comes across as warm and fuzzy. well done, hope we see more of you as warm and fuzzy. Mick
I can't thank you enough for recommending the book, "Visual Thinking". I started reading it and was almost in tears before the end of the foreword. I have always felt like a failure because I didn't complete my degree in engineering. I always got flummoxed by calculus and could not go on to the engineering classes. I am not on the spectrum but so much of what the author describes applies to me. What a revelation! Thank you so much!
This is HILARIOUS (comic relief scene partner) and so very useful. I could watch you lifestyle vlog all day. Your outside the compound excursions. Your evening in the office talks. Your dry humor, sometimes at my expense (but hey I can dish it back). What a gift in it of itself. Thank you for this bonus gift. Merry Christmas to you. And the missus. And the kiddo. And the pup. And the crickets.
Great vid Wes. I like the ideas with varying price ranges for all types of folks. Glad you both did that and Mrs. Wes with the "I love you" which really "surprised" you with "How I am going to respond to that" LOL !
Great tool recommendations. Wife wore red wing boots when she delivered for airborne and DHL. I wore them for years while working as a tech. Bought them direct at the Red Wing store in Red Wing Minnesota. Best boots I ever owned. Still have my match holder from like 50 years ago, been many miles and miles on trips. My dad had a Swiss Army knife all my life. It’s in my china cabinet to him. It was always in his pocket. It is the deluxe tinker model. Mom hated it because it wore a hole in the back right pocket where he kept it and she had to continually fix the pocket. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
Dang it Wes, Going all Hallmark Christmas on us. The Mrs. was right, it was wonderful, and I can't talk for everyone, but I loved it. Some good Ideas, and some solid quality options. I agree with others, this could be a holiday tradition. I'm almost a 40 year veteran as a tech, and I'm always interested in seeing what other techs use to do their jobs. A solid tool is a good investment no matter the brand. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
My strategy for last minute shopping is to wait until Dec. 23 or 24. Go to the store, take whatever is left on the shelves. Merry Christmas! This comment made in China. 😁
The Prusa printers are a real workhorse machine. We have about two dozen at the tech tips factory. One note about your MK3, it can be upgraded to a MK4 with an add-in kit, the kit is also not cheap. I like using them when I don't care about speed, I just need it to print accurately. If I want to print stuff fast, we have the Bambu units for small things and the Pantheon for big things. The Pantheon's head moves so fast that it pulls 3 Gs. It's nuts.
@@WatchWesWork Wes, if you have a sec, take a look at the things they're doing with metal 3D printers. The folks on the engineering side have a Rapidia machine. It prints out powdered metal which is then cured, as is my understanding of it. They did a full prototype of the LTT screwdriver handle in the machine, I was impressed at how solid it felt. Wild stuff.
man i love the relationship you and your wife have and it is so obvious just from your smiley warm facial expressions when you are together on camera. love it. i
You and Mrs Wes crack me up. 🤣 Not a bad list Wes. I've never seen Astro-pneumatic tools being sold here in England. I'd love my own "Thor". I'm strongly considering getting a 3D printer and learning. Been meaning to for years but just never got around to it.
You two are so cute. It's obvious you love each other. I've been programming computers for over 20 years. I'm getting into automotive more and more lately. Like the flip side of your coin. Programming requires a lot of abstract thinking. That's why I like mechanical stuff because I can put my hands on it.
When I started watching this video, I have to say I was never expecting book reviews. As a secondhand bookshop owner this delights me. 🙂 You guys just keep delivering the goods, long may it continue.
I got a pair of those Knipex Cobra pliers a while ago and I carry them every day. Coupled with a Gerber Armbar Drive and it’s a solid combination. Funny enough, I remember my grandfather (heavy equipment operator) carrying an almost identical pair of pliers every day and he used the hell out of them. What goes around and all that…
And I must get that book on project estimations. That has been my experience on every single project I’ve worked on. Every single one. One employer, the Program Manager and management estimated 12 months for a ground up, clean sheet design program. When the company went bankrupt/out of business 6 years later, the project was still in development and was never released.
I will add this video to my Christmas watch list along with Die Hard and It's a Wonderful Life, it will be an annual tradition now in my house. Mrs Wes is adorable, you are a lucky man Mr. Wes.
Hello and thanks for great content. I watch it all..😂 its really fun to watch when youre better half is in the eye of the camera. You two really have good humor. Happy holidays and stay safe. Greetings from Norway
Absolutely best video I have seen in sometime.. You are a blessed man Wes. To have a beautiful wife express Love in the a simple way. I have also been blessed with a wife for 46 years. It still make me feel so special to hear those words “ I Love You….💕
I wait every week to watch your video, because I am subscribed to so many channels, your channel is the one I like the most. Over the past 2 years I have been down a very horrible personal life, I am very very happy for you because your wife said that she loves you. Please do not take it for granted, you truly do not know what you have until it’s not their anymore. Merry Christmas WWW!!!!!
I look forward to all of your videos. That being said, this has to be one of your best. You and your wife are just real down to earth good people. The world needs more like you two. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! 😊👍
Visual Thinking is an amazing book by an amazing author (Also highly, HIGHLY recommend Thinking in Pictures by the same author). I cannot say enough how great it is and it is awesome to see it recommended here. Even if you are not a visual thinking type person, it is a must read to help understand those that are. As someone who had a child diagnosed with ADHD early on in his life, it took years to realize that I was just like my son my ignored the signs. The book is not really about ADHD at all, but a lot of the thought processes are similar and it was a great read for my wife and I, and now my son finished it recently. Merry Christmas to you and the family, keep up the great work
@@WatchWesWork I didn't know that was a thing... But Now I know How I think! That's why when somebody is talking fast it takes me a while to process!!! Thank you!
Thank you. Your smiles are infectious. Have a wonderful Christmas and every day in between. Ps. I've always thought I had more of a photographic memory, and I really struggled in school. But I excelled in shop classes. And for what ever reason no watch or mechanical device was safe from my overwhelming desire to tear it apart to see what made it work. Eventually I learned how to put things back together.
Your on camera banter is fun to watch, it is nice to see Mrs. Wes again, Whatever holiday greeting you two prefer, say that to each other and imagine it's from me.
I loved this. You are a wealth of knowledge and experience and I'm lucky to be subbed to your channel. I also loved that mentioned the Python books because there's not a lot of mechanics that branch out into the programming side of things. But your troubleshooting approach shows how you take the time to understand the systems before trying to solve the problems so you can understand how it all works together. You seem like a solid dude and I really enjoy watching the dynamic between you and your wife. You're both very adorable together, but tell her you love her, you numskull! On a side note, there was a biopic about Temple Grandin a few years ago that anyone here with interest should watch. They show her childhood and struggles growing up. And later they show her success with animal management as a result of her thinking style from having autism. She also blazed a trail as a woman in her field way back when it was only men. I highly recommend that Temple Grandin film with Claire Danes. Happy holidays!
You two are not lame. You’re awesome. You both entertain and teach us every week. I carry that Knippex. You’re spot on about not realizing how much you’ll use it.
You guys are so great together. Thanks for all the great content this year. Happy Christmas and all the very best to you and yours from this side of the pond. 🎄🎄🎄
Wes how you kept a straight face it don't drip out the end,😂 Mrs Wes is part of you're team hope she's on the payroll, we would be lost without WWW regards from Scotland 🇬🇧🏴🚜🛻🚙🚗
That was pretty wholesome my wife and I are the same way we know each other enough that through out the year gifts at specific times don't really come into play but I know when I need to do something more for her out of the blue. Like the cat she just got since she lost hers a while back and I was adamant about not getting another pet but I know she needed it and I felt the time of year was right even though I couldn't make it an actual christmas gift that was my explanation for it and she got to pick the perfect one for herself.
Dear Santa Wes, all I want for Christmas is another nerd, nerd, nerds list. I will be stopping over tomorrow to set on your lap and tell you all about it. Side notes your helper, makes the show good job thank you Merry Christmas and ALL that stuff stay safe
Good to see Mrs Wes with that Cutey Smile again Everyone needs a Mrs Wes in their Lifes🥰😍 Wes Whats it like to be Marrued to a SuperStar ? 😇 Have a Great Christmas & New Year to all Bud 👍
Merry Xmas Wes and family, you continue to inspire me to tackle projects with my truck. This sometimes (ok a lot of the time) leads to lots of frustration but is satisfying when it works out.

Nerds who fix things or find ways to get things done make the world go 'round. As thankless as it may be.
the men who blow things up get the attention, but it is the men who fix problems that are valuable.

Your channel is one I always watch to the end.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I really enjoyed this video and will use some of these suggestions. Thanks Wes and Mrs. W.
Thanks Wes for giving me a good chuckle happy holidays and merry Christmas to you guys
This needs to happen every year my kids and wife loved it! You guys are a good family.
Just grabbed the visual thinking book, thanks for the recommendation. Sounds like an interesting read
I think you are officially a slice of life channel now lol!
Happy holidays, and best wishes for the comming new year to you and the family
Dear Santa Wes, all I want for Christmas is another nerd, nerd, nerds list. I will be stopping over tomorrow to set on your lap and tell you all about it. Side notes your helper, makes the show good job thank you Merry Christmas and ALL that stuff stay safe

Good morning Wes. Absolutely great videos as always. Merry Christmas to you and your family. 60107 says hi.
You and your lovely wife are just so good, natural and loving together, it's great to see.
Merry Xmas Wes and family, you continue to inspire me to tackle projects with my truck. This sometimes (ok a lot of the time) leads to lots of frustration but is satisfying when it works out.
I’m so embarrassed you can’t light a match! 🤦🏼♀️
It's not as easy as it looks!
Please bring it over at Christmas so I can give it a try😊
Ugh!
