Thanks for this fabulous video! Today is day 16. I purchased the cosmelan 2 kit and home essentials kit to treat PIH. Honestly I had 1 week intense downtime before recovery within 2 weeks. I’m fitzpatrick type iv prone to rosacea, dryness and melasma. Cosmelan 2 has been effective but a few additional steps i took was healite LED facial on day 6 to resolve the dry, angry irritated sensitised skin. I skipped cosmelan 2 on day 6 and 7, my aesthetician recommended I dial back to 1x daily from day 6 onwards. My tips on the journey - know your skin (I discovered hydra vital k and melan recovery was my friend), be careful with applying judiciously especially around the mouth and eyes (this is probably obvious looking back at the video, hydrating eye gel was also my friend), and patiently nurse your skin back to health. The instructions are great but it was helpful to have personalised guidance from an aesthetician as well. Today I’m grateful / lucky for significant improvement on measures like radiance, fine lines, dark spots and even tone. Big thank you for your invaluable guidance ❤
This was so helpful! I’m currently using Cosmelan 2 after having Cosmelan 1 done by a professional. I really had no clue how much to use of the Cosmelan 2 product and of the recovery lotion. Being able to see you apply it helps tremendously. I hope my skin looks as nice as yours. I’m currently peeling a lot so it isn’t cute on my skin but it’s very pretty on yours! 🧡
Oh it was amazing. It helped so much that I continue to use the product. It’s really a hidden secret for hyperpigmentation. I had a really bad break out during the lockdown of 2020 when I discovered I was allergic to wheat. My face was awful. The Cosmelan took it all away in what would have taken years to eliminate. I love it!!

I have had the cosmelan treatment before and it worked amazing! Now after a few years my melasma is coming back a little bit. It’s not nearly as bad as before but I would like to treat it before it gets worse. Would you recommend this treatment in the video (only cosmelan2) for this?

Hi! I’m come accross your videos after coming to RUclips for my last resort. So happy I found your videos! I hope this comment finds you well as I can see it is a couple years old. I had the cosmelan 1 peel exactly one year ago and it worked so well, my results were amazing. However a year on and my Melasma has started to reappear. (the same places it was before). I followed the aftercare by the book and I am still using cosmelan 2 in the evening as well as the mesoestic spf 130 every morning and no sun exposure. Am I safe to use this method even though I’m still using cosmelan 2. Or would you advise another peel with the cosmelan 1? I’m just a little deflated that it comes with such a big price tag and it’s reappeared after a year. Thank you in advance!
Hello, yes it is expensive treatment but worth tit for sure. Do not worry so you can use melan tran3x concentrate and gel cream in the morning followed by spf, evening Cosmelan 2 is fine. Make sure your skin doesn’t have oil and is perfectly cleansed before cosmelan 2 application You can also do another Cosmelan peel including Cosmelan 1

I have several questions: 1) How long should I wait to get another Cosmelan 1/2 treatment? 2) I’ve been told that I should stop using Cosmelan 2 cream after 7 months. Can I use it longer for maintenance or as a spot treatment, if so, for how long? 3) I’m running low on melan recovery can I use a mild moisturizer that contains Aloe Vera, Squalane, Glycerin in its place? 4) What product would you choose after a Cosmelan Treatment, melan recovery or hydra vital factor K? 5) If I finish the melan 130 pigment control bottle could I use another spf in its place? Hello and thank you so much :)) My answers are: 1) at least 1 year full break 2) you can use it much longer , over 1 year or 2, but I do not recommend it as a spot treatment at all, always treat the whole face 3) you can yes, try for a week and if your skin feels fine it is fine 4) hydra vital factor K 5) yes you can but 50+ and physical spf with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide etc.

Today is my second day ,I am using the cream only once , at night because my skin is sensitive. My skin is already red and irritated. My question is: should I keep putting the cream even though my skin is red ? @@kritikachugh96 Kritika, it surely peeled the face when I followed just like her. But it didn’t help the pigmentation deep down. This will give you a new skin, glow and everything else but Cosmelan 1 actually activates the breakup of old pigmentation and cosmelan 2 is the maintenance thing. Which city you put up in, some docs even do a patch cosmelan 1. Get that done instead and use cosmelan2 I’d suggest. Lemme know if you have any further questions.

I am in the 3rd week of the Cosmelan treatment now (with Cosmelan 1) and still experiencing the peeling daily. 3 times per day I apply the cream and the skin cells come off every time I wash my face. It burns on my skin quite a lot when I put on the cream, and it burns even worse when I apply the Melan Recovery. Could you please tell me if this burning feeling is normal? I plan to use the Cosmelan 2 at least one year, but will my skin peel as long as I it? Or will it stop one day? Highly appreciate your answer.
Hello, burning is normal yes it burns a lot. The skin will be peeling for may be 3 months, and then will almost stop or at least you will not notice it, so you will feel better. The redness will go dawn too

I haven't had the Cosmelan 1 peel and I only have fairly mild pigmentation so I wondered if I could apply Cosmelan 2 for less than 8 hours (maybe 4 hours) and still see some results? Would applying the Cosmelan 2 cream for less time result in reduced severity and/or duration of redness and peeling? Many thanks!

Great video, thank you! I had the cosmelan 1 peel done in July to resolve melasma on my upper lip and had fantastic results. I am now on maintenance (cosmelan once daily at night) and I stupidly strip waxed my lip two weeks ago, causing damage to the upper lip and causing the dark pigmentation to reappear above the lip. I am now on the maintenance program with cosmelan 2, restarting the product on my lip tomorrow. Do you suggest I put a thick layer above my lip to beat the pigmentation, or just use a small amount every night?

I did this, left it on for 6 hours and sadly it burned my cheeks, and now have lost melanin in those areas. I would be careful if you have dark skin.... I now have more uneven skin than when I started :(
Cosmelan 2 is not designed to leave for that long. I thought its okay coz SHE said so.. but the truth is, NO. You not supposed to leave it on like the cosmelan 1.

I had cosmelan 1 treatment done about 11 months ago with great results. I continued to use cosmelan 2 but now have resorted to using it 2-3 times a week at night. I have had some if my freckles and general pigmentation return. Would you recommend cosmelan 2 with the method in this video or would I need to stop using it a few nights a week first and wait for a few months before using the method of using the cosmelan 2 for 8 hours for effective results? Hi Eleanora! Thank you for the video and I wish I watched it before I applied the cosmelan 2 at home by my by myself. I applied the cosmelan 2 only on the pigmented areas of my face and left it for 8hrs. After u washed it I had patches of red and it's been 2 weeks now and it's like a brown colour and won't go away. 😢 During the 2 weeks I didn't peel much and the pigmentation is still there so I must of done something wrong and was too afraid to continue the cosmelan 2 as a maintenance cream. Will these patches of brown (like different colour to my actual skin tone)on my face eventually go away or will my face have patches of dark colour permanently?

I e recently gone to cos 2 just at night every second night. I want to know should I use cos 2 like this or swap to Melan tran3x in morning and cos 2 at night? What will give maximum results? You should not use hydroquinone at all with cosmelan 2. You have all lightening ingredients with cosmelan 2 and do not need another cream. You can add normal serums but not hydroquinone
I need some advice. Unfortunately, I left my Cosmelan 2 cream in my work bag along with my lunch, which was hot. After a few hours, when I checked, both the food and the Cosmelan 2 were room temperature. Should I buy a new Cosmelan 2, or is it still effective? Thanks

Hi , wonderful & very informative video. I am using this for the past 5 weeks, wonderful result, but i have one issue, my skin is still pinkish (reddish). It was too much initially. But, still looks odd & pinkish. Peeling off completely stopped. Pigmentation drastically reduced. Is it normal to have pinkish skin even after 5 weeks of applying cosmelan 2 with recovery, ONCE every day. It is little embarassing. If it is normal, how many days it takes normally to become normal colour skin. Even if becomes normal, it will still look odd due to difference between neck/ear skin and facial skin. Can I apply it to ear and neck also, to make it uniform. Some times, I get itching in both eyes, eventhough, I dont apply around eyes. Dont know whether it is normal.

I tried this Cosmelan 2, I followed exactly the same process as this video, and no single difference on my pigmentation, it been 2 months already and the pigmentation is still there, exactly the same, and this product is really really expensive so BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!

Hi it depends on the laser and you can only do that if you are using cosmelan 2 cream once a day ( the evening application ). You can not do any lasers if you apply the cream twice a day

Today is day 16. I purchased the cosmelan 2 kit and home essentials kit to treat PIH. Honestly I had 1 week intense downtime before recovery within 2 weeks. I’m fitzpatrick type iv prone to rosacea, dryness and melasma. Cosmelan 2 has been effective but a few additional steps i took was healite LED facial on day 6 to resolve the dry, angry irritated sensitised skin. I skipped cosmelan 2 on day 6 and 7, my aesthetician recommended I dial back to 1x daily from day 6 onwards. My tips on the journey - know your skin (I discovered hydra vital k and melan recovery was my friend), be careful with applying judiciously especially around the mouth and eyes (this is probably obvious looking back at the video, hydrating eye gel was also my friend), and patiently nurse your skin back to health. The instructions are great but it was helpful to have personalised guidance from an aesthetician as well. Today I’m grateful / lucky for significant improvement on measures like radiance, fine lines, dark spots and even tone. Big thank you for your invaluable guidance ❤

Oh it was amazing. It helped so much that I continue to use the product. It’s really a hidden secret for hyperpigmentation. I had a really bad break out during the lockdown of 2020 when I discovered I was allergic to wheat. My face was awful. The Cosmelan took it all away in what would have taken years to eliminate. I love it!!
my dermatologist gave me only comselan 2 and not melan recovery or spf so is it ok using only cosmelan 2 and not melan reco and spf

I had the cosmelan 1 peel exactly one year ago and it worked so well, my results were amazing. However a year on and my Melasma has started to reappear. (the same places it was before). I followed the aftercare by the book and I am still using cosmelan 2 in the evening as well as the mesoestic spf 130 every morning and no sun exposure. Am I safe to use this method even though I’m still using cosmelan 2. Or would you advise another peel with the cosmelan 1?
I’m just a little deflated that it comes with such a big price tag and it’s reappeared after a year.

Hello, yes it is expensive treatment but worth tit for sure. Do not worry so you can use melan tran3x concentrate and gel cream in the morning followed by spf, evening Cosmelan 2 is fine. Make sure your skin doesn’t have oil and is perfectly cleansed before cosmelan 2 application
You can also do another Cosmelan peel including Cosmelan 1

2) I’ve been told that I should stop using Cosmelan 2 cream after 7 months. Can I use it longer for maintenance or as a spot treatment, if so, for how long?

1) at least 1 year full break
2) you can use it much longer , over 1 year or 2, but I do not recommend it as a spot treatment at all, always treat the whole face
3) you can yes, try for a week and if your skin feels fine it is fine
4) hydra vital factor K
5) yes you can but 50+ and physical spf with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide etc.

Today is my second day ,I am using the cream only once , at night because my skin is sensitive. My skin is already red and irritated. My question is: should I keep putting the cream even though my skin is red ? @@kritikachugh96 Kritika, it surely peeled the face when I followed just like her. But it didn’t help the pigmentation deep down. This will give you a new skin, glow and everything else but Cosmelan 1 actually activates the breakup of old pigmentation and cosmelan 2 is the maintenance thing. Which city you put up in, some docs even do a patch cosmelan 1. Get that done instead and use cosmelan2 I’d suggest. Lemme know if you have any further questions.

I am in the 3rd week of the Cosmelan treatment now (with Cosmelan 1) and still experiencing the peeling daily. 3 times per day I apply the cream and the skin cells come off every time I wash my face. It burns on my skin quite a lot when I put on the cream, and it burns even worse when I apply the Melan Recovery. Could you please tell me if this burning feeling is normal? I plan to use the Cosmelan 2 at least one year, but will my skin peel as long as I it? Or will it stop one day?

Hello, burning is normal yes it burns a lot. The skin will be peeling for may be 3 months, and then will almost stop or at least you will not notice it, so you will feel better. The redness will go dawn too

I haven't had the Cosmelan 1 peel and I only have fairly mild pigmentation so I wondered if I could apply Cosmelan 2 for less than 8 hours (maybe 4 hours) and still see some results? Great video, thank you! I had the cosmelan 1 peel done in July to resolve melasma on my upper lip and had fantastic results. I am now on maintenance (cosmelan once daily at night) and I stupidly strip waxed my lip two weeks ago, causing damage to the upper lip and causing the dark pigmentation to reappear above the lip. I am now on the maintenance program with cosmelan 2, restarting the product on my lip tomorrow. Do you suggest I put a thick layer above my lip to beat the pigmentation, or just use a small amount every night?

I did this, left it on for 6 hours and sadly it burned my cheeks, and now have lost melanin in those areas. I would be careful if you have dark skin.... I now have more uneven skin than when I started :(
Cosmelan 2 is not designed to leave for that long. I thought its okay coz SHE said so.. but the truth is, NO. You not supposed to leave it on like the cosmelan 1.

I had my Cosmelan 1 treatment 2 weeks ago with amazing results and I am using cosmelan 2 three times a day followed by the recovery cream + Epadrem cream but the last three days I started having few red pimples different areas (very rarely I get acne - maybe one or two per year). Shall I stop cosmelan 2 for few days? Or could it be from the Epadrem cream blocking my pores? Thanks

I had cosmelan 1 treatment done about 11 months ago with great results. I continued to use cosmelan 2 but now have resorted to using it 2-3 times a week at night. I have had some if my freckles and general pigmentation return.

Hi Eleanora! Thank you for the video and I wish I watched it before I applied the cosmelan 2 at home by my by myself. I applied the cosmelan 2 only on the pigmented areas of my face and left it for 8hrs. After u washed it I had patches of red and it's been 2 weeks now and it's like a brown colour and won't go away. 😢 During the 2 weeks I didn't peel much and the pigmentation is still there so I must of done something wrong and was too afraid to continue the cosmelan 2 as a maintenance cream.
Will these patches of brown (like different colour to my actual skin tone)on my face eventually go away or will my face have patches of dark colour permanently?

You should not use hydroquinone at all with cosmelan 2. You have all lightening ingredients with cosmelan 2 and do not need another cream. You can add normal serums but not hydroquinone

Hi , wonderful & very informative video. I am using this for the past 5 weeks, wonderful result, but i have one issue, my skin is still pinkish (reddish). It was too much initially. But, still looks odd & pinkish. Peeling off completely stopped. Pigmentation drastically reduced. Is it normal to have pinkish skin even after 5 weeks of applying cosmelan 2 with recovery, ONCE every day. It is little embarassing. If it is normal, how many days it takes normally to become normal colour skin. Even if becomes normal, it will still look odd due to difference between neck/ear skin and facial skin. Can I apply it to ear and neck also, to make it uniform. Some times, I get itching in both eyes, eventhough, I dont apply around eyes. Dont know whether it is normal.

Hi it depends on the laser and you can only do that if you are using cosmelan 2 cream once a day ( the evening application ). You can not do any lasers if you apply the cream twice a day
